  1. Well done to all involved! Small steps forward are still in the right direction, yes? T.
  2. This needs a huge LIKE button response! Ditto from me! T.
  3. Big fat healthy looking babies... doing good there! T.
  4. My yellow Lab cross bitch is named Trouble... suits her to a tee... lol! T.
  5. Ned - as in Kelly Roo - as in kangaroo Baz - ocker for Barry Bruce - apparently a popular Aussie name in the 70's - subject of a very funny Monty Python skit Perkins - if he likes to swim... *grin* Jarrah - a particularly fine type of eucalypt tree Wally - if he's a little bit of a doofus Jack - as in jackaroo T.
  6. I can see him in the sale yards running along the sheep backs... lol! T.
  7. Royal Canin Junior seems to work better than other puppy foods though... in my experience with around 200 foster pups anyways... T.
  8. There are worse things for a pup than becoming a photographic model... *grin* T.
  9. Good thing he got his mum's herding instincts... lol! T.
  10. I switched my pups onto high quality junior kibble at around 12-14 weeks... the puppy formulas started to give them the squirts at the larger portions required for their weights. Royal Canin Junior was the kibble of choice here, and it worked well for us. T.
  11. I used Canex puppy syrup for the rescue fosters... worked a treat... T.
  12. It's funny how the little "darlings" will always behave beautifully for a stranger, isn't it? Harper is a complete mess when it comes to doing anything she hasn't done before, or meeting new people... but as soon as the head trainer at the local training group goes near her, she decides to make a liar of me and behave beautifully... anything to please this one person... *sigh* T.
  13. It's been 11 years this month since I lost my beloved Woosie... and you have pinpointed exactly what it feels like... still... Big hugs to you Rayhay... T.
  14. They are looking so good! Lovely healthy and active babies... T.
  15. My recently departed old girl was a shocker as a pup... everything had to go in her mouth and be tested. What I did to stop her was to "bite" back... when she bit down, I'd pinch her ear or lip in semblance of a bite, and loudly growl "aarrgghh!" or "uuhhh!" as I did it. She learned really quickly that there were consequences for her biting that weren't overly pleasant, and she stopped doing it. T.
  16. Here's to a few more years in the old dog yet... *grin* T.
  17. Ummm... pretty much anything Trouble the Lab has swallowed has come out the other end just fine... *grin*... including gravel from the stones she used to chew as a youngster... ... and you should see the things that manage to pass through the Spastic Camp Dog!!! Poo patrol is an adventure here... *giggle* T.
  18. I think you can fight this one... as the bits you have been quoted relate to per policy period - which to pretty much every sane person in this universe is 12 months, yes? If her last obstruction surgery/endoscope procedure for that problem was in 2009, then I'd be questioning what THEY are calling a"policy period". What was she covered under for the 2009 incident? Precedent claim if you only had accident cover then too. T.
