  1. I thought she was pretty but most ppl said she was ugly I need to get a better head shot. She had bulging eyes lol. She was such a smart dog too. I miss her
  2. I was going through some pics on my computer and found one of my heart dog I had while growing up. I had to have her PTS 2 yrs ago at the age of 17 Anyway just wondering if anyone has a clue to what breeds she had in her. She was 16 inches in height.
  3. Gorgeous!! My boy was about that at 6 months and then slowed right down. He now weighs 27kg at 20 months.
  4. lol.... I'll prob have to do locks and cable ties incase she chews through the ties! I wish she would've barked to be let out... it would have been a lot less messy! There were even pooey footprint marks down the hallway to outside my bedroom where she, luckily for me, must have turned around a gone back into the kitchen. Thankfully she stuck to the tiled areas and avoided my nice cream carpet.
  5. Hi Guys, Can anyone recommend a brand of heavy duty wire crate? I got up this morning to find Missy my stafford out of her crate and asleep in the cats bed. Her crate/walls/floor is covered in poo explosion, so I guess she she didn't want to sit in it and decided she wanted out of the crate. A few of the wire bars are stretched and bent, but the door was still closed so she must be able to morph into a gas and seep out of the tiny gap underneath the lower locking bar I didn't hear a thing either
  6. At few weeks ago my OH had to run back to Buster's crate and tell 3 little girls about 5yrs old to not stick their fingers in his crate. Where the hell were the parents??? We then saw that they had gone into out bag and got some treats out and were feeding them to Buster. Now Buster is fantastic with kids but he does tend to snatch food and I'd hate for them to lose a finger. They kept trying to come back when our backs were turned too so we had to stay near the crate the whole time.
  7. haha that's hilarious. Thanks I am feeling better but still have a limp and my nose is bruised. I have my daughter's christening on sunday so I hope makeup will cover the bruises!
  8. That sounds nasty I also got a split lip a few months ago from over enthusiastic stafford kisses.
  9. Yep... get out of the way quicksmart or find a better hiding spot!! I already have a nice purple bruise appearing on my thigh...Boy I'm going to be sore tomorrow ;)
  10. You get body slammed by an amstaff doing zoomies! ;) Stupid me thought it would be funny to rev Buster up and then hide from him bent down behind a gate...... well he found me and instead of dodging me at the last second like he usually does, he ran straight into me. My nose and two fingers feel like their broken and my hair is full of saliva from Buster licking me as I lay in a crumpled heap on the ground . Just thought I'd share!
  11. uhuh..... my naughty bitch sails over 6 foot fences no problem at all...... she has lots and lots of stamina. SBT123.... that run fixed her up though!
  12. Hi, I think you were sitting next to me at the Wollongong show.... do you have the cute brindle bitch that does tricks?? I had the amstaff and the baby Are you going to any shows over the next few months? If we are at the same shows come on over. It's much more fun at shows when you have people to chat to. On the grooming issue.... I just bath my amstaff a couple of days before a show so his natural oils are there for the day of the show. I have also just started to trim whiskers, put chalk on his white bits, and use some horse coat shine spray on him.
  13. Yes the vet did a report for them when he came to PTS and I've told themt o make sure they get both the police and ranger reports. The ranger also took photos of the injuries.
  14. Yeah the pony owners have been told to sue for compensation.... don't know if they will as they are pretty upset at the moment and haven't thought too much about it. I can't believe the dogs went through two quite secure fences! I could understand seeing a pony standing in a paddock and chasing it, but they sought out the pony to get him. The owners have a little dog too that is probably traumatised by having the strange dogs running around it's yard ripping milo apart.
  15. They have the dogs in custody and I know both the police and ranger advised them to take the dog owners to court. I'm still waiting to find out for sure but I think the owners is arguing against having the dogs PTS.
  16. Yep we are devastated I'm just glad the kids weren't at home at the time.... not a nice thing to come home to find half your ponies face ripped off.
  17. About 2 months ago I gave my little mini pony away to a friend's relative where he was kept in their backyard as a pet and walked around the streets everyday. Well two neighbourhood dogs which are apparently used for hunting jumped the front yard fence and forced their way through the backyard fence where they mauled little Milo He was only 83cm tall and had to be PTS due to the severity of his injuries. The police were called while the dogs were still in the yard and were going to shoot them but they were worried they would get the pony so they called the pound who took them away. Apparently these dogs have killed cats and a dog before so I hope they get the book thrown at them! :D R.I.P little fellow

    Arrrrrrr!

he he I like how he sounds more pirate like as the race goes on.
  19. Not offlead but I was giving my entire male amstaff belly rubs when this woman lets her large entire male dog which was onlead come over and start licking Busters balls! I gave her a look like she was mad and she just laughed and said her dog must be gay...... well Buster either didn't notice or enjoyed it because he didn't move off his back
  20. No that easy it seems. I just called DogsNSW to find out if a prefix was registered and they told me they can't tell me due to privacy laws.... WTF!! I didn't ask about the person who owns it or any personal info just whether the prefix was registered with them.
  21. Glad she is ok. I left my boy in his crate with the back of the car open on saturday during a show..... I don't think I'll be doing that again.
  22. Hi guys, Can anyone tell me if Austral is the only place in Sydney that holds ring-craft classes? Also, for anyone that goes to the Austral one, is it really only for pups or all ages? My hubby and I could do with some tips handling wise as we are letting our boy down with poor handling.
  23. Well I'm staying home. I can't take my 8 week old bub out in this weather so OH is going alone.
