What a friggen whacko, I am sure dog showers just luv being called an animal killa. As for the other part allready said my bit in the other thread. Unenforceable. Why dont the pay people to desex dogs? if they really want to cut down numbers, you know take it of in rates or something, a threat is not an incentive in the 21'st century.

I think Hawaii has four or five counties and each would have there own animal controls that are not run at a state level. You should look at the county codes of the place you are thinking of moving to in Hawaii to find what the rules are. eg; Maui, Hawaii, Kauai etc.

Semi rural/rural I have 1 but I do look after another one quite often atm, 3+ times per week so I voted 2 dogs.

I thougt I heard the dog was put down last night, at least thats what the news said up here. Sad situation for the dog and i hope the people recover fast.

That click bamboo flooring is good or click laminate floorboards, real floorbords are great too but the scratches could be a bother. make use of floor rugs though they can get cold in winter.

Report the incident, they might patrol the park around the same time f day for a while and give some people education, who knows.

yeah it can be a bugger if your dogs not snake wise, my dog bolts if she sees a snake, lizards and things she is ok around and isnt worried she knows the difference. It must be some kind of built in instinct in her. editing; there is some sort of electronic snake repeller thing around that is suposed to keep snakes away where it is plugged in. But it might keep Blues and goannas away too?

I just leave them beand stay well away, not much I can do about them as they feed on the frogs. And i like the frogs around.
