1. Busted? what is it a crime to talk to dogs in strange tones instead of barking orders at them now lol. If so I will happily wear that straight jacket!
2. Not wrong griff, totally amazing.
3. They do seem to put there foot in it, over and over again. Very slow learners that lot.
4. Fishermen catch dog 2km out at sea Daniel Bateman Saturday, July 10, 2010 © The Cairns Post A SALTY sea dog has survived insurmountable odds to be fished out of shark-infested waters in the middle of the Torres Strait. A small black staffordshire cross appears to have swum at least 2km to clamber onto the submerged net of a passing prawn trawler last month. The courageous canine had swum from nearby Stephen Island, 170km northeast of Thursday Island, after presumably becoming stranded on a sandbar while taking a stroll along the island’s beach. Skipper of the Mingara II, Robbie Collins, said it was only by an amazing chance the Hervey Bay-based vessel had been passing, and had its net in the water. The crew did not notice the dog until they went to haul in their net, only to find the weary, water-logged dog hanging on for dear life. "The nets were being pulled in and suddenly (the crew member) saw these paws poking up,'' Mr Collins said. "He had to look a couple of times before the dog jumped out of the net onto the deck, before he realised what was going on." Once onboard, the extremely grateful dog, which the crew dubbed the "Loch Net Monster", showered them with licks. The crew, mindful of quarantine issues onboard their boat, isolated the animal and provided it with food and water. It spent two nights onboard the vessel before the crew were able to make contact with its owner, who came to collect it from the boat. "He seemed pretty happy to see the dog," Mr Collins said. Cairns-based vet Dr Jo Squire, who services the Torres Strait, described the circumstances surrounding the dog’s rescue as "freakish."

Safe: Mingara II crew (from left) Vinnie, Robbie Collins and Jarren pamper the staffordshire cross dog they pulled on board in their fishing net, 2km from the nearest land. 5. Why? just to exercise the genetic misprints that they are. Their ancestors probaly threw little girls and old women into ponds to see if they would float back in saylem.
6. Seriously how can you eat tofu? I tried it, it's like eating a flem upchuck.
7. Definatly agree about the bull fighting, and the bull baiting events using dogs they hold. Disgusting stuff, I dont give a crap if its a long standing tradition, it's the 21'st century! How can people like this stuff ffs?
8. Any news on the Qld state governments decision on that court ruling about amstaffs? It's been a while.
9. First time Tilla went to the beach her eyes bulged out of her head! She was a desert dog from a pretty disgusting place so knew nothing but dust, dirt, and scrapping for survival. I really wanted her in the water so it would help her skin condition, at first she was only excited about the seagulls and would race up and down having the time of her life dispersing them into a screaching flight. To get her interesed in the water I would skim shells along the edge and then slowly throw them out deeper. eventually she started to paddel about. It had taken about 3 months to get her to do that.
10. Not really, I dont think many where I live really give a crap about what ever dog breed or mix someone has.
11. I bought a 100 pack of little glow sticks from the tackle shop they are great too. I had a flashing strobe light I bought from the pet store but the end fell off it.
12. I hope the CCtv pics are not fuzzy.
13. At the beach don't let the dog in the water during a tidal surge, and don't swim the dog in rips or where an under current is. Sounds like a no brainer but you never know someone might not give it a thought.
14. :D I really hope like hell this botanical does great things and the human trials see great results.
15. I don't think dogs are allowed at all on tracks http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/national...s/parkhome.aspx? editing; fixed link ?http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/National...e.aspx?id=N0022
