Mostly wrong owners I would think. The human aggressive dogs would exist more these days because they wouldn't really be removed from the genepool like they were years before. So poor breeding practice to blame the dogs demise aswell. But still I think owners are the ones who dont manage dogs how they should be managed and that is what leads to most problems. As for certain types of people attracted to them, well it's probably more what flavour breed of the year is. This year pitbulls next year a ******* breed perhaps?

Generally if they are bright coloured there is a big chance they are toxic, the bright colours are a warning to predators not to eat them or they will regret it. Hairy ones can be, usually are toxic too.
