Seems to be, I have seen them cheaply advertised at 800 or so, though maybe BYB people, same with Bostons. I love those bat wing ears! -
Snake Avoidance Training
GeckoTree replied to Bonniebank's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
What do you fellow dolers think about using snake skin shedings for avoidance by scent in Australia ? Quite a few people I have talked with who live in the US do this with rattle snake avoidance training. I have had a couple skins I have found and my dog automatically did not go near them when I laid the out. her reaction was keeping a distance and actually jumping backwards in the air. -

As far as I am aware fair trading will only pursue on behalf of a buyer of misrepresented or faulty goods when the seller/breeder of the dog has an ABN and a trading name. caveat emptor J

GeckoTree replied to huskies4life88's topic in General Dog Discussion

http://www.geelongadvertiser.com.au/article/2011/10/17/285711_news.html PAWS FOR THOUGHT: Skye McCormack, 6, with Dolly, joins Saturday's protest against the practices used at the Geelong Animal Welfare Society. HUNDREDS of outraged Geelong residents fronted City Hall with their pets on Saturday to protest for a change of management at Geelong Animal Welfare Society. Concerned animal-lovers lined Gheringhap St to show their support for the council to regain control of the Moolap pound following last week's release of distressing video footage by protest group GAWS Exposed. In what an RSPCA spokesman has described as "distressing on a number of levels", the footage from the pound shows cats and dogs disoriented, seizing and vomiting before being dragged on to operating tables for lethal injections. GAWS Exposed spokeswoman Tarsha Andrews said while it was important for the centre to remain, new management must be put in place to ensure a series of changes could be made. "They've had the same management there for 30 years and they desperately need new people, a new direction and a new vet for the sake of the animals," Ms Andrews said. "They need some new people to put the welfare back into the Geelong Animal Welfare Society." The group is seeking support to implement a new system where volunteers work from the shelter to assist in adopting out the animals or helping to find them suitable foster carers until a permanent home can be found. Fellow spokeswoman Joyce Doherty urged people to consider providing short-term foster care for the animals at the centre to ensure they didn't end up on the kill list. Thousands of people have viewed the footage on YouTube, as well as signed an online petition calling for City Hall to take back control of the pound. Geelong Animal Welfare Society acting vice-president David Cecil said Saturday had been one of the busiest adoption days at the centre. "I don't agree with their (the protesters) methods, but more people wanting to adopt is a good thing, the staff, board and council just want to see animals go to a good home," he said. "In April some things were brought to the board's attention and were changed and on other matters we'd like to know what we could do to improve. We'd be happy to have DPI (Department of Primary Industries) back, as the original (audit) was done at our request." Mr Cecil said the society was not considering legal action against the GAWS Exposed group. Earlier in the year lawyers wrote to the Deathrowpets blog warning of legal action if they continued to post damning comments about the pound.

I am sick of them to aussie dog. And car crash reports. So long as dogs exist some people may find themselves on the bity end for a myriad of reasons kids and adults alike. Just as cars get wrecked and people injured and worse for a myriad of reasons. It's not all owner/driver error, faulty dogs and cars.

LMAO that was great I loved it! -
No BSL does not reduce dog attacks. Just look at the newspaper clippings, if anything attacks increase. So no BSL does not reduce attacks, and people who read newspaper clippings and soak in the media brainwashed tepid waters of luke warm lemonade they serve up should be up in arms that BSL does not work. Because BSL does not reduce dog attacks well at least according to newspaper article clippings. Is there a drift catching a draft somewhere.

I'm sorry for being so untactful but ID cards reminded me of the jew stars in that sad era, we've all seen them in doco's.. Reinhard Heydrich recommended that the Jews be forced to wear badges following the Kristallnacht pogrom in November 1938. The German government first introduced mandatory badges in Poland in November 1939. Jews who failed to wear them risked death. On July 26, 1941, the Judenrat (Jewish Community Council) of Bialystok announced that "the authorities have warned that severe punishment — up to, and including death by shooting — is in store for Jews who do not wear the yellow badge on back and front."

If that strong pee smell has soaked into the under floor dirt over years from previous owners dogs? I dont really know how you could illiminate it? All I can think in that situation is a masking agent of some sort like an airwick freshener in the above room or other something or other. The ag lime should help a bit though. I hope you can find a saving grace.
