Thats the facts in qld Chris. And unless someone is convicted, or pays in admission of guilt of an actual law, all fines are invalid, that's the law. I wish people just understood how it works. I can't count the times I have shut my trap and just pointed to the car black box recorder, then everything goes silent.

I think they changed those traffic laws in Vic last year, not surprising many are being caught out. many just don't know, but as they say 'whoever they are' ignorance is no excuse of the law.

On all the occasions a dog has rushed me, I have used different strategy, I must sum up the best course of action subconsciously in a split second, So far Its been standing still like a statue, stomping the ground at it, hollering at it. I've never run, I have always walked of slowly but facing the animal.

I think you would need to look into glue to train the ears set, I think thats how show folk fix wayward ears. Keep an eye on the American bulldog champions league. They are the only ones I have heard running shows in Victoria.

I'm so sorry Victorians, looks like a similar type check list scam that Qld used. Ace just looks like a generic sort of dog to me, not of this nor that, the same found wandering the road on the outskirts of the community where I picked up my dog from. Are they so cold hearted and fearful over a look of a dogs features that they will not give the option to at least let the dog move outside of the state?

Shot dog on the road to recovery Kristy Martin | 3rd April 2012 5:29 PM Tags: bridget the dog, shooting Booral’s Morgan and Gregor Agnew with their beloved dogs Bundy and Bridget. Related links Police investigate dog shootingBRIDGET the dog is back at home and on the road to recovery after being shot in the head at Booral on Sunday. The neapolitan mastiff may have been shot with a .22 rifle by a disgruntled neighbour after she wandered into their yard. Bridget's owner Pamela Agnew said she'd noticed a change in the dog's behaviour after bringing her home from the vet today. "She's a little bit different from what she was," Ms Agnew said. "She's a little bit more shy than she usually is. But she's doing really well." Ms Agnew said she received a threatening letter in her mailbox two days before Bridget was found on the roadside injured and bleeding from the head. The anonymous note said: "If your dogs come into my garden for the third time, you will never see your dogs again." Ms Agnew said she spent Monday doorknocking around her neighbourhood to see if anybody heard gunshots before 9am on Sunday. "I have my suspicions about who it might have been now, so I'll be taking it to the police," she said. Hervey Bay detectives are investigating the shooting and ask anyone with information to call (07) 4123 8111 or 1800 333 000.

Why Would A Full Grown Dog Attack A Puppy?
GeckoTree replied to Staffyluv's topic in General Dog Discussion
If I had a little dog like a Chi I would pick it up, its not just 'attacks' but getting stomped on or rolled would freak me out. the leg bones are tiny. -
My dog's nearly 11 ( I think) I can't be sure. I cant put my finger on a single primary breed however. She was a non owned camp dog when i picked her up, mangey wormy thing she was. who had a litter/s, still battles with skin outbreaks to this day.

Why Would A Full Grown Dog Attack A Puppy?
GeckoTree replied to Staffyluv's topic in General Dog Discussion
I have no idea why a mature dog would attack a pup, I have seen a mature dog attack a little pup even when submissive and showing it's belly minding its own business, not in its face or anything. -
Bahahaha ha ha, oh the embarrassment and chuckling whispers for the hoity toity crowd. Dog couldn't give a shit lol. Dogs a dog.

I take it his allotment size was ok to let of a firearm in? In qld it's a minimum of 40 acres. Many an unlicensed tough guy on a 5 acre rural residential block has found them selves in the poo big time, more than people with roaming dogs causing chook loss. Rip dogs/ Chooks. shooter could have gone about things better, people can run themselves out of town by such poor actions.
