Hi Sheridan . My 10 and half year old border collie (Lady) As the same thing on her leg..... she as had it for the last month now, does not seem to worry her but she will be going to the vet for her other problems in a weeks time I will be asking my vet about her lump on her leg.......

Hi MonSqueek, It does'nt look to good... Is she in any pain at all? It might be an Infection down there, but to be sure its nothing to series, I would take Zoey to the vet just to be on the safe side.

I have had no problems feeding my dogs a couple of slices of pawpaws or mangoes. missed a word, its late what can I say :cool:

Hi poochmad I have had no problems feeding my Border collies fat of chicken, brisket bones ect, Try trimming the fat off and see what happens :p

Well, I voted shouldn't get a refund on the puppy, as you may have to return the puppy.... I also have a dog that was bought with a lot probs, but i could never return her as I love her very much.... :p

Hi kristin_e102 I dont think is a dominance thing, but more of a natural thing to do. I used to have a male dog that do that, I just keep yelling no at him and push him off, of what ever he was trying to mount. Sorry I cant be much help then that right now...

Whitch one did you get first? When i got a second dog, my mum told me that I should always put my first dog first example patting,feeding,grooming and playtime. I'm not sure how true that is, but it does make sense in a way my second dog NEVER left out and I loved both equal, I'm not sure if you should praising Lucy as you are the dominant pack leader. But thats just my opinion.

Thanks everyone for advice, i had passed it on to my friend she personally does not want to through out kennel however is now considering it if its going to cost her new dog life, (she paid a lot 4 the kennel on a low income). I hope still people will still put there advice on this page though. The old house was rental, she today spoken to the landlord manager about the Parvo at the old house. Pappylove her old home at Berrimah, im not sure where u are in Darwin.

Yes, the dog from RSPCA is vaccinated including the C5 Vaccine.

Ok, i have this friend who had a puppy that died from Parvo in the last month or so , she as since moved from her house where the Parvo was. She as just moved into her new place and now she going adopt a adult dog from the RSPCA in the next couple of weeks, my concern is she is using the same plastic dog kennel she had for her puppy for her new dog, my friend as washed the kennel out with bleach and as left out in the sun to dry. Does any one know if this kennel would still be a carrier of Parvo despite being cleaned out with bleach?????

I have the same problem as you, i would never feed my dogs on homebrands, Pal or savings however i do feed them Luckydog and supercoat i have had no problems with that at all. :rolleyes:
