Vegan dry dog food, based in Victoria but deliver. www.veganpet.com.au My dog loves the stuff, the owner is very helpful also, so I'm sure she wouldn't mind if you sent her an email with any queries.

Hi, Does anyone know if the mobile grooming set ups are big enough to wash a giant breed dog?? Need to get my boy washed but never used a groomed before and as I can't physically wash him or take him anywhere myself the mobile option is my only choice.

Oh my gosh - I love all the photos! I am going to have to come next time around - I usually only hang out in the Saint thread but will have to remember to keep checking in here to see when you are all planning the next visit.

Women Injured And Animals Killed In Overnight Fires (caboolture Qld)

I've read this thread over and over and haven't known what to say Words cannot express the pain that Jed and her family must be going through, all I can say is that it is so pleasing to know that there are so many that care for her and her dogs. A big kudos to all that have helped and especially to MDBA. Thinking of you Jed and hoping that you make a speedy recovery. -
Yep they clip on to the normal anchor points very easily. I have a Holden Sportwagon if that's any help, but I'd presume most car anchor points are similar. It is a rather difficult website to navigate around (the Black Dog one I mean).
-
I find the black dog wear website a little confusing, so have (hopefully) attached two images, one of the actual car harness and the other of their ute lead attachment. Basically you clip the ute lead to the harness and then attach it to your anchor point in car/ute/wagon etc. I've found this harness pretty good and after using it a few times it's quick and easy to put on. ETA: photo showing actual harness shows the strap that comes with the harness for threading seatbelt through. When you use the ute lead attachment you attach it to the same place (instead of the seatbelt attachment). Hope that makes sense!

We have the Black Dog Car Harness here, you can either clip it through the seat belt or attach it to an anchor point. I have a station wagon so use the anchor point attachment.

Hi, thought you lot might be able to point me in the right direction for the best (preferably free) program / website for making photo slideshows. Thanks

Happy Belated Birthday to him They are such gorgeous creatures and I hope you get a few more years together

Cassie, if you were the dogs breeder would you want to know (am sure I know the answer to that!)? I'd stop conversations with her for the time being and contact the breeder (email would be fine). Explain the situation to them and how you are unsure if the girl is actually pregnant but that you are concerned for her welfare and that as a dedicated dog owner you feel that what your 'friend' is doing isn't quite correct. Surely since the girl is entire there must be a contract of some sort in place and therefore it is likely that it is in the breeders best interest to know the situation. ETA: If the girl has the pups and all runs smoothly by chance, it may also make your 'friend' think that breeding puppies makes money and be the start of another BYB....

What do you use for giving your dogs drinks when out walking? Do you use the portable dog bowl things? Take a sports bottle and let the dog drink from that? I'm currently just taking along a sports bottle filled with water and 'squirt' it into my dogs mouth, he seems to like that, but just wondering what the norm was?

Have You Found A Good Product Through Dol?
BIG-DOG-LOVER replied to 16Paws's topic in General Dog Discussion
Yep, both from banner listings and also forum threads Can't remember everything but pretty much anything that I am looking at purchasing that is dog related (sometimes not even dog related) I do a search on and usually come up with enough info to help me make an informed decision. -
OUCH!!!! Poor puppy, very lucky that she was covered by pet insurance, bet the owners will be ever grateful to you for that Hoping for a speedy recovery.

That's great VJB, I can imagine you're excitement I received mine this morning and quickly found an empty spray bottle and started spraying it around the place. The talc smells great I also ordered apple, am yet to try it.
-
OMG how GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!
-
Does anyone know how much the shipping charges are? Have emailed them but bit of a pain that you can't see costs on the website. I'm planning on ordering 2 of the 5 litre bottles in different scents - am thinking talc and apple sound nice!
-
That stuff sounds good, off to visit the website now FYI I vacuum very regularly and also purchased my own carpet shampooing machine so I can keep the carpets fresh and clean. But I'm always conscious of doggy smells so will be good to try the Odour Go stuff.

Anyone Thinking Of Buying A Houndbag?
BIG-DOG-LOVER replied to 4 Paws's topic in General Dog Discussion
Re Get Whippets post about the strap being funny. I had the same problem with mine, I worked out that it is supposed to be a collar for emergency use, well with a Saint Bernard it was never going to fit his neck so I just cut the extra clip (and section of strap) off. Glad I wasn't the only one that got confused ;)
