Wreck it that is appaling!!!!!!! Rosetta I watched it on the web and saw which kennel it was, even if they don't win their case people now know which kennel it is so they will lose business and people will not leave dogs there. I really feel for them, the guilt they must be feeling after leaving their dog there would be crippling, even though of course none of what happened is in any way their fault. Poor little Grommet. RIP little man

I can say that OSo swifts kennels are the best set out kennels I have seen . I just love the way they are set out and the dogs in her care are so comfortable and well looked after . My 2 had the best holiday whilst we travelled around WA . Cannot recommend them enough and yes wish she would move across to QLD :) Thank you MTD it is very much appreciated and shows me I am on the right track :) I will see if I can find the show. Poor people

I do whatever is required:) Some sleep in separate runs but are exercised together, sometimes there is two in one run one in another. Sometimes they are completely separate. If I am full I am full I will not put dogs in together to fit more in. I did have one person say cant you just put him in with someone else he is friendly - NO!

That's sad, I double check that dogs from the same house can be fed together or not. I have two in at the moment who have to be separated and two that don't. I would not be happy at all with that and wouldn't go back either!

I have both and like both, the rubber only came off some that was on a painted concrete floor but I think that is because the surface was a bit more abrasive. It looked like sand underneath. The rubber backed is softer than the green backed in the beginning but the green backed does soften up

And that was also a big reason why we never went far after my very trusted friend got married and had three kids and couldn't house sit any more. I am always reinforcing to myself why I wanted to do this and the fact I designed and built kennels that I would be happy to put my own dogs in. There has to be more out there but yes how can you tell which are which??? I feel for anyone who has boarded their pet and had a phonecall to say they have been injured or worse even, killed. To be honest if it were my dog I would want answers as well and I would be out for blood. I guess it's like good breeders, sometimes it can be hard to sit the wheat from the chaff

We have two days to go and I thought we may be going by now due to massive expansion but so far no signs of labour at all, she is passed out asleep :) I do need to nip out and get milk and cereal though, then she can go any time after that :) More babies very soon :)

Aww thanks :) I have to say when the dogs are with me they are like my own, if there are any concerns at all their owners are contacted immediately, even if it isn't a need to see the vet emergency situation. I treat others and their dogs as I would wish myself and mine to be treated. That means their physical and mental health are equally important. I go into the kennels multiple times throughout the night if there are storms and I have known storm phobic dogs, There are genuine people who really do care. The ones that don't yep they can be shut down :)

Yes Mita I remember that and that story reinforced why mine are fully enclosed inside and out so no-one can climb anywhere

It's my bitch that will pee in this house, but only if she has to hang on longer than she thinks is suitable, so it happens rarely but it will happen if you hit the snooze but one more time than she thinks is appropriate!

So you wouldn't board your dog with me because I have their kennel which is concrete and they are walked a very short distance to a grass exercise yard, at least twice daily and are exercised by themselves( or with their family group) That's pretty harsh. I too think shoddy kennels should be shut down they give us who do care and are doing a great job a bad name.

Best I tell my boy, since he is entire, that he should be a delinquent and pissing on everything and humping everything!!!! I would personally leave it until 14 to 18 months. Obviously if cannot keep an entire bitch from being misnamed do it before her first season.

My SIL dog had something very similar. He was 11 and a Border Collie with heaps of coat. He licked his legs and feet cleaning quite often but he never seemed to be a bubbler or chewer of much at all so nobody really knows why he got it, but yep the hair ball consisted of hair and couple of tiny bits of cartledge, and a few little bits of stuff?

And this is why I get upset. Just because one kennel doesn't do things correctly doesn't mean all kennels don't and are bad

There are Whippets sometimes needing rescue :) I could even be convinced to get the sewing machine out of hibernation to make a coat - problem solvered!!!!

Yep they fit everything else beautifully. The coat but is easy to fix :)

Hahaha I say 9 :) I will put a photo up of Rommi later eekkk! Only 3 days to go and she has gained just under 5 kgs- she only started at 10.6!!!!
