Some of the streets in Como have tiny places that are often accomodation for uni students so certainly not expensive. The houses on the video don't look particularly exciting or expensive. That fence tells the story doesn't it. I think it may have said the man is a Chef, so yes a hand injury like that could be devastating to his career.

I had heaps of polar fleece blankets. They wash and dry like rags and no foam or stuffing issues :)

I took Rommi's temp four times a day for 7 days before her first due date, her temp dropped by half a degree maximum over two times then back to normal. I don't think I would have just missed it so hmmmm I do it but don't take it as gospel. I cannot wait to see them, a whole (large) bunch of cuteness coming right up!!!!!

My bitch had one - she was xrayed and we were told there were none - delivered it herself no issues. Had no issues with mobility or development.

Maybe try covering the mattress in rubber backed curtain fabric. Smell shouldn't go through and if you make it removable you can pull them off and wash them and the smell shouldn't go through the rubber backing too much

Yep already, well around here anyway :)

That is terrible, once again owners have failed their dog by not restraining it correctly. I do believe a dog that has done this should be euthed, and immediately. I hope the young boy heals quickly as well as his dad, how terrible having to go in and fight like that for your childs life.

Dog Desexing, Bleeding Stitches?
OSoSwift replied to LamborghiniMurphy's topic in General Dog Discussion
I would get it looked at. A little oozing is normal if they are a bit too active, but that is a fair amount. Also he MUST be kept quiet, do not let him jump around like normal. Fingers crossed he is okay but please do not leave it and keep him well confined, especially until you know what is going on. He has had major abdominal surgery. -
No it depends on which type of sachet you buy. You can buy the natural one which has none I don't think or you can get the vanilla one which has more. I have an easy-yo as well :)

Give the poor girl leg braces!!!! Hope she doesn't jump of the lounge or she might pop!!!! How long till she is due now?

YEs but this is a bounty for feral dogs, they look much the same as domestics especially when all that is seen is the pelt

That reminds me ....I have groomed both an 'M' & a 'Q' in my years grooming! That is how they were said & spelled! Can't get much shorter than that. Yes being a Bond fan I want to call a dog Q :)

I know go figure, but there are very few show dogs down here and very few pedigree dogs, so I guess pets are the norm and so is pushing for desexing - which honestly down here is a good thing!!! I find it annoying to be honest but they are the only vet so I had to suck it up, call my breeder and do some youtubing and did mine myself. Their staff formed the local branch of the Friends of The RSPCA so they tend to follow, what the RSPCA don't like, they won't do. They will not remove them with doing a GA so therefore won't do it until a puppy is old enough to have a GA which often is when they are desexed. ETA mine only had front ones no rear ones.

I took my dog to work for years, It was a vet hospital so that helped. The next vet I worked for did not like people taking their dogs in though.

Genetic Issue In <1yo Dog - Breeder Responsibility?
OSoSwift replied to Mike Echo's topic in General Dog Discussion
If it is not something that is known in the breed or can be tested for then to me as sad as it is for both you and the puppy it comes under the "stuff" happens catagory. If it is something that could have been tested for and/or is well known as a potential issue in the breed then I would think that the pup should have been returned, then a refund given or a new puppy given. If you wanted to keep the pup and do surgery after say previous senario had been offered I do not think the breeder should be obliged to offer you any of the money back at all but I would offer half of the puppies purchase price back as an act of goodwill. What is the particular condition? has it been confirmed it is a genetic issue? -
I got mine from Peperone as well :) I find the rubber backed easier to get in my washing machine, wrangling the green backed stuff can be kinda difficult. It takes a little while to go softer and until then it is a bit ungainly. The rubber backed is much softer

I have no words other than I am so very sorry for you and your family. RIP big lad

My vets will not remove dewclaws until desexing even if they are rear dew claws. Then they will only remove rear dewclaws as to remove front dewclaws is deemed, by them, as unethical. If other vets are this way as I assume there would be some, then it doesn't suprise me that puppies are being left with dewclaws on more and more.

I know someone who won a young horse at a campdraft. But obviously he could ride, that's how he won it. I still don't agree with it though
