Very interested to hear how she goes. I haven't read your link as yet, but from memory bitches with such vuluvas often benfit from having a season is that still thought of as correct?

I have been in this situation. We generally would tell the owner they could surrender the dog for the euthanasia fee and we would rehome the dog. Most owners would looking for an easy out. IF not you have to euth the dog, you cannot take it and say you are going to euth, then rehome it. Now I would suggest they call the breeder or would take it - like the young dog I currently have in my yard...............

Yes there is. Working with animals and their owners can take it's toll as this clearly illustrates.

I want a Whippet jumper :) In regard to angus Cattle look here My link One interesting thing, Murray Grey cattle came from Angus cattle originally, the first found in the Murray Valley region - hence their name and they were light - from a dark brown through to a very pale grey. An Angus farmer found a light coloured calf in his herd one morning and it went from there. Thankfully Murray Grey cattle are now very well stabilised and much quieter that their black (or Red) counterparts :)

I am not a qualified vet and I could quite competently administer a vaccine or other injection. It's pretty basic!

Parents State Dogs Responsible For Critical Injuries To Toddler

agreed Rozzie, cowardly bastards -
I inject my own dogs and those that require it at the kennels frequently, only one go every time - unless they manage to jump and get a very fine Insulin needle to pop out, which is rare as they don't feel it go in anyway. I am no vet, that sounds terrible! Would be interested in a name of the young vet if someone wants to PM me.

Gee I wish my vets were that sort of prices $55 Consult c5 Vacc $88 Trienniel C% around $130 M/Chip $60.50 or $44 with a GA procedure ie desexing And apparently their fees went up recently. Desexing bitch over 15kgs $350 We only have one vet clinic, its 400kms to another one - whom I wouldn't - visit or further.

Good god, I did Nek and good god, why must people put up not one not two but what seemed like a dozen photos of two dogs knotted including a close up??? Yes we know how it happens, but photos??????? they are dumber than even I thought!

I have had a Blue Shepherd in the kennels. She was nice enough but an odd dog in some respects. It is very pretty to look at which is the unfortunate thing.

Bloody morons

I love squeezing things - but time and place sheesh!!!!!!!!

I don't like being licked at all but also cannot stand the sound of it, I can even hear it in another room and it must stop.
-
I cannot stand licking so I would never do anything that involved one lick anywhere. Even reading about it is bad enough. I did spend many months firstly using a needle and syringe to draw pus out of a rather enormous lump under the dogs chin, then after surgery and drain removal flushing out said area with syringe and weak betadine solution 3 times a day for over three months until it healed from the inside out.

I have two entire males inside. Have had no issues and the boys are cleaner than my bitch. One has been used at stud and still will not cock his leg. The only times they have peed inside is if they are totally busting and just cannot hold on any longer or a medical reason. The bitch however, she has territory marked and cocked her leg on lounges etc when her nose was out of joint with the introduction of a new dog.

How Do You Deal With Growling?
OSoSwift replied to Pretty Miss Emma's topic in General Dog Discussion
It depends on what the senario is. My bitch will go from either a small growl to teeth holes or nothing to teeth holes, so with ehr I will interevene when I read her body language. The boys are very good and will growl and carry on and generally sort it out so I let them go. Very occassionally one will get into the others face and lick him flat out, flop infront of him all the time and generlaly be a total pain in the butt and the other dog gets very grumpy. I will stop the annoying dog then, but not the one trying to tell him to bugger off. Once my dog growled at my smallish child who in 2 seconds had done something he had been disciplined not long before, for trying to do. The child got in big trouble, the dog got told thank you for the warning. -
Fair enough but he is only 5, last year all three dogs had the same premium, he has had one claim when he was 9 months old, my bitch is 6 and has had a major claim - hate to see what hers will come in as!!!!!!
-
I got my premium for my young male whippet - $618 per year, an increase but happy it wasn't more. Got my premium back for my 5yo Whippet - no claims its $685. I wonder why that is????

RIP little man So sorry you had such a bad short life -
IT is a risk, but it is a calculated risk. Myself and friends ran PPS for over 8 years. There was one incident where someone brought a coughing puppy to PPS was asked to leave ASAP but 4 puppies caught it, mine included. Ealr socilaisation/neutralisation is very important in puppies and as long as all puppies are vaccinated for age, the area is cleaned correctly and puppies are carried in/out then the risk is minimal and the benefits outweight the negatives.
