Scout ~Eraky My fair lady 1) Scout is my first ever dog I waited 30 years to get her. 2) Scout was meant to be a male and we had picked the name Zorro out for our dog, but the litter of 11 puppies there were 9 girls and only 2 boys one was yellow so it was a girl or wait for the next litter. I couldn't wait so we got a girl instead 3) Scout is a beach bum and water baby. She has no fear of the surf and body surfs in the waves I think she loves getting dumped 4) Scout has an amazing shiny black coat that gets comments whenever we go anywhere. 5) Scout has ears that only a mother could love. They were so big as a puppy that she looked like a black beagle. The breeder saw my concern and said, "don't worry she'll grow into them" 6) Scout also answers to the names, booty, boots, scooty booty, pud, puddin, puddy and bubs 7)Scout loves to get a boobie rub and underarm scratch 8) Scout is so quiet at home that our neighbours were amazed to find out we had a dog 9) Scout loves to play hide and seek 10) Scout is a tart and loves men

My perspectives on three issues confronting the labrador breed are coming from a first time dog owners point of view. I can only think of two at the moment: 1) The popularity in x breeding the lab in order to produce a so called "Hypoallergenic dog" most of these dogs that are for sale over the Internet are placed on very alluring websites that try to persuade the public to the "so called the benefit of such dogs" I feel that unaware people looking at the labrador breed can unfortunately be swayed to purchase these x breeds instead of the real thing. 2) Is the reputation that the Labrador is an over excitable dog that does nothing more than destroy anyone and anything in it's path. It saddens me to say that I mostly hear this on DOL which is a pure breed dog site. As a first time dog owner I have had nothing but pleasure in owning a lab, my house/yard and furniture are in the same condition they were before I had a dog. I have also found training a labrador to be very rewarding and fun.

Labsrule, I just do not know what to say. I'm sorry just doesn't seem to be enough. I know how much you loved him, your beautiful heart dog. When I first joined DOL I loved hearing your Fitzy stories, I knew then from the very start what a precious dog he was. An exceptional example of our fantastic breed. I can only hope that Scout and I have the connection and bond that you and Fitzy had. His beautiful nature and loving heart will always be remembered and his loving memory cherished over in the lab thread. Run free Fitzy with your favourite bowser ball. Katrina

good job, I have up most respect for people who photograph weddings I had my DSLR at a wedding on the weekend, just as a guest and had a try at some pictures, I think I got two nice ones, it's really hard to do. I like number three and four. I love the tree shot with all the bridal party, (What was the groomsmen thinking though when he put white socks on with a suit:eek: )

I always think they'll be hard to out do when I see your photos, but you always get there with any photo you post. Your photos are awesome I love them.

We are lucky to have so many beautiful places in Australia, everyones photos have proved that for sure. I took this on the way home from work yesterday at about 4:30 pm. I'm not sure if I like it, I think there is to much sky. I might stop in a different spot and get a different angle on the way home on monday.

So many nice places in the photos so far beautiful photos. Here is one from me. I hope to head out this weekend to try and get some more

I love all the photos so far, The back lit ones make me look forward to summer, bring on the longer days and sunshine I got out with the camera and made the most of the sunshine today, and tried some back lit photos. I was not very happy with any of my photos so got up to leave and when I turned back around I noticed a father and his daughter surrounded by seagulls. I just had to take some photos. Happier with these ones, but any feedback or tips would be much appreciated I'm beginning to think I should have got a yellow Lab instead of the black She can be tough to get photos of.
