isn't NSW policy that the show must stop if it gets to a certain temperature? so people then wait till it drops? Naracoorte is Sth Aust ... they have a definitive policy ... if forecast is 37c or higher the show is CANCELLED. Well done SA ... I believe all States should have a "blanket" policy.

I can't remember when I last had to contact a show secretary ( touch wood..LOL) I'd prefer to email if I had to ... having said that, a quick check of the current Dogs Vic gazette shows NO email addresses on any schedules ... so do most show secretaries prefer phone calls ??

via Dogs SA website; Collie Club AB Shows Cancelled The Collie Club of SA advises exhibitors their All Breeds Amenities Championship Shows scheduled for 10th & March March 2012 are cancelled due to unavailability of grounds. no you can't .... a reminder printed in the January gazette; "Members and Club secretaries are reminded that dogs cannot be entered into events as "registration pending". We refer you to regulation 4.1.2 ......."

maybe because that's the Club running 2 of the shows :) if you said Glenormiston I'd have no idea what you're talking about :) :)

ring them ... if it's processed they'll give you the numbers.

can be easily fixed if it's considered a problem on DOL my simply limiting the options availble on profiles... as it is it's a free text field and people can put in what they like. this is just another form of advertising ... we can put what we like ...

I agree ... and I add it mine where applicable ... and very proud of them I am !!! I only use BIS &/or BISS ...

It's nice to be included in a "short list" .... don't see the point in using it in results though. Some "short lists" I've seen have been up to 8 dogs ... some 4 .... the worst was when I was in a short list of 3 !!! silly really when you leave 1 standing there alone. As for FB ... of course people use it for bragging ... it's free !!!!!

I was thinking more along the lines of a child or dog running out from between all these illegally parked cars !!!! As far as illegally parked cars go ... if you car gets scratChed or damaged TOO BAD !!!

my opinion ... the grounds staff should have the authority to remove them ... maybe a fine when they go to collect them from him/her whoever or not released until a set time.
