So who's going to be the first to post a pink lipstick? I was considering it Yup.... B&W photo with the tomoto being the only colour. She loves them, throws them around the house running up and down the hallway with it, before it bursts in her mouth and she looks puzzled as the seeds explode in her mouth! Funniest thing ever! that sounds so cute!!

Pc, Your boy looks so adorable inthe look up pic, DD, Your doggy and child pic are very cute, cant decide which one is cuter CM, love your doggy eye shot, I think I can see you!! Well I finally made a start, My first one is Home, Ive always liked the saying keep the home fires burning and I think this pic reminds me of that saying.

Thanks so much for organising the challenges, I have had a ball with Januarys and think my photos have improved heaps since I started and it is great to be able to get lots of inspiration from others photos. 4 of the shots I took for January are now hanging on my wall in frames, (all dog shots of course) Im already thinking about the treasure hunt it should be a lot of fun.

CM Love the self portrait and the movment of Chesters tail, very well done!! Id be interested to know how you went about it to, mine were easy being close ups, all I did was have the camera at the right height and used my free hand to press the shutter release, i actually toom mine with my panasonic fz50 as I tried with the Nikon but no matter what I did I couldnt get it to focus, all shots were blurry. So back to the good old Pana, not an slr and no as crisp but still a absolute ripper of a camera.

I tried some self portraits today of me with each of my doggies, I changed them to sepia, not sure if I like the color version better, I tried to get them all the same tonings but not quite up with it yet to figure out how to get the same effect each time.

Hi Guys, well one more day and this month is over, Hope everyone is keeping well in the swelltering heat, it was not so hot here today about 35, still too hot for me!! CM I love the dark shot of your dally, just lovely, what is the back ground and what did you use for light (if you dont mind me asking) Iltby, I loved starry, the color is great. PC your friends Ridgie looks like she is having a ball, love the ears!! JayC, the possum doesnt look scared at all Kirislin, I love shadow photos, must try that!! Your horse is divine as always!! Montall, that spider is gross and your water looks like milk Nicole, the sign is great, It does look very old I love the antiquey colors in it. here is mine for today, hope you all dont mind there is more than one, the first 3 are of my big boy, Cooper jay and the lastone is the sky this morning at 6.45am just before I went to work, Ill be so glad when the weather goes back to normal!! peek- a -boo Iltby, your pics for today are just fantastic, especially like the first one!! Hi Guys, Im so over the hot weather, Kirislin, you were braving the elements for your shots, was that thermometer over 50 unreal, it has got to 44 here today and a horrible north wind, and some cretin lighting fires around the town Not much inspiration here today so sorry it is doggys again, I wasnt at all pleased with these pics but I had a little play with them in PS and they havent turned out too bad. Hi Guys, lots of good shots again today, I definatley would like to try the balloon full of water trick, very clever, Not much from me today too bloody hot, I tried to capture how hot it was on camera but failed miserably, so took some pics of my roses and had a play around in PS, I like the first one till I seen it on photo bucket so much lost quality and now it just looks aweful and pixilated, anyway here it is and the second one is strait off the camera, not editing. 28th January

More great shots, Terra Nik how can you say yours are nothing special, look at that smile, Id say very special ;) and your first shot was interesting did you make it dark after or was the room dark when you took the pic? Becks you did a good job of the not so still doggy. Bindi, your bad makes me wanna go back and hop in mine :rolleyes: Iltby, great shots, I really love the one of Chelsea with her tounge out, very cute!!

Thanks tlc, I liked the fact that the bridge was in the background too. I actually had another picture of the boat that was even a little sharper but liked this one better, so I'm pleased someone else liked it too. All the photos are great, the black and white flowers aren't boring they're lovely. All the dog pictures are great. I particularly liked the one that was about to chomp the ball, can't remember who put it up. The cactus was great too. It's funny what you find when you download the pictures, an ant no doubt you didn't know you had. The same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. The horse pictures are always beautiful, the one watching the dogs is special. And last but not least tlc pity you couldn't get the cat but there's just one word to describe your dogs, beautiful. I love their cute little faces. Thank you so much!! Jag, beautiful shots, the sky in the first one is amazing, I love the beetle and the water drops on the rose is fab, I love the perspective of the pelican he looks on top of the world!!

Some more excellent pics since my last post, I will be sad when this month is over but definalty looking forward to the feb challenge, I couldnt find the cat so more doggy pics from me for today. I tried to edit them the same but I just couldnt get it right, these two have the same color fur but in the pics they look different. 27th January, my smily doggys Lacy and Bronson!!

Wow great shots today, horsey shots magnificent, Poocow your border is hilarious such expression on his face, that cheese cake made me want desert, the purple berries looked good enough to eat and cute little pug face, what a line up, oh and Jayc's miss ella, what an adorable face!! Becks, I loved your doggy pillow shot, just beautiful, Lea your girly pic looks like a rock star, great shot!! Montall, there is something about that boat pic that I really liked, I think it is the fact its not just the boat and it has the bridge in the back ground I really liked the composition of it. It has been really hot here today and ive been at work so havent yet attempted todays pics and the cat headed out into the back yard so I might have to go and harrass him for some shots, wonder if hes up for it today!! back later.
