Pandii, the stuff I use from the vets is called oticlean, it is very good, it is a spray but also a drying agent, so any moisture that is causing bacteria will be dryed up.

RJ, I was extremely pleased my little white girl was so good today a lot more confident than she has been, so it was a great positive experience for her. Im really dont know now that the dogs were ridge backs because they were only about Boof size, and they did look like much older dogs so if they were ridgys Id be assuming they would have been bigger, Mmmm so im really not sure. I hope I never have to run into them again to find out. If you guys stay at training after training on a Sunday what time would it be?? I would definatly be interested in bringing my lot again.

Just a quick question about the photos, there is a lot with people in them so is there anyone who would prefer thier picture not be posted and only the dogs cause I can crop out people, just thought id better check before i post some. There are not real good but all the doggies look like they are having fun!! Jerojath your girls are lovely and obviously very devoted to you!! Pandii, Tyson and Seb are great, I think your right about Ty, he would make a great therapy dog!! RJ, Your big boy is georgous, and little sniff is very cute. Tenties, your little pups (sorry I cant remember thier names) are so cute, I think they think they are big dogs too!! Shannon, We love Maws, and Migs, glad Mawson didnt pee on me today!! I was really impressed with how all the dogs got on today, I thought they were all very well behaved, and we cant wait to do it again soon!!

Thanks Munchin, for posting all that info, the only thing im a bit unclear on is basiaclly it is saying for now if you have permission to have the animals that you have then thats fine, say in my case 4 dogs 3 is the limit and I have a permit for number 4 but after 5 years it will change, I guess they are not going to make me get rid of two dogs but more likely asses the situation and Ill have to apply for a permit to keep the extra 2?? What do others think they will do? Tenties how many are you allowed to have in the Moyne shire? or is there no limit?? Im just checking out the photos will try to get some on this arvo. Hey Pandii, the Butcher shop was sold out in 20 mins!! You would think if they were going to have a special they would at least have enough to last the time!!

I rang them and asked what I had to do, they said apply in writing, I did that and the next thing I knew was the council guy rang me up and said you have got your permit, we door knocked and rang some of your neighbours and they are fine with your dogs all we ask is that you register it with the local council and abide by all the local dog laws. So I was stressing but it was all too easy, i was very lucky!! He did however say tyhat in the future say if a neighbour complained or the likes that the permit can be reviewed to make sure everyone is happy, but so far (touch wood) I have good neighbours. My guys do bark a little bit and it is magnified because of course one barks and they all bark but they sleep inside at night so no barking at night which I think most people have the issue with.

Huh What Council :rolleyes: i dont know of any Council....... ( walks off scratching head ) Hope there is none of our local councilors on DOL!! Just realized I started and finished my last post with the same sentence, how bizzare!!

True we'll have to wait and see. RJ your doggies look adorable, cant wait to meet them! Pandii, I got a permit for doggy number 4, the council did a door knock and rang some of my neighbours and they all said they had no issues with our dogs, barking, being a nuisiunse (sp) etc... so all we had to do was get pup number 4 registered micro chipped all the usual stuff and that was it. I did hear the other day that they are thinking about bringing in a 2 dog per household policy, not sure how true it is and what about the ones that already have 2 or more?? well have to wait and see.

I will bring my little camera, Id like to bring my good/better camera, but to be watching my four with new dogs and having to worry about the weight around my neck may be too much, so if all goes well maybe next time Ill bring the big banger and get some good shots, but for tomorow snap shots will have to do!! What does it mean when you say someone is lurking, is that when you can see down the bottom of the page that the person is on line? Sometimes I keep the page open then just go away from the computer so it may look like im there but im not really, is it just ettiquite to shut the page once you have finished reading? Im not up with it!

Would anybody mind if I bring my camera?? One of my girls is not real keen on big dogs but if they dont bother her she will be fine, if they get too close she will say back off but thats it. She loves little dogs and can be annoying to little dogs, sounds like she may be a match for RJ's little foxie!! Ill take the ball for my white girl if she needs to be distracted the ball will work everytime. The boys will just wanna play although I think my biggest will be a bit intimidated by the bigger dogs and my youngest will be a sook as usual!! but Im sure once we are there they will all be fine. Ill have my best carm assertive Ceaser head on....

Yes I agree, It may be a bit overwhelming for him, I have counted about 14 + dogs. I was thinking about the Mystery DOLer in the wagon, I wonder how many DOLers stay absolutley annonymous? So they are only known by thier user name and dont give out any other details about themselves, such as real name, location etc... I havent been around long enough to figure it out!
