TN, that suturing looks sooooo neat, you will make a great doctor!! Darien, love the normal day shot and the sunset one is very unusual! I dont have a shot from yesterday, but I have a couple for today from my doggy diary, we are running out of places to take a different shot. Here is one diary moment for today My girl lacy looking across at the lake into the sunset, it wasnt a real good shot taken in a hurry with my little point and shoot canon so I had a play with it. and this one "Here Kitty!!"

Oh Bumma, we must have just missed you, we were there till about4.45 then we went to the promenade for a walk, we met up with a friend who has Coopers brother who we havent see for ages so I was pleased. Anyone heading to Albert park inthe morning, if not I think Ill go to thunder point instead!!

Hi Tanya, My times at Albert park really vary due to work. MOnday Tuesday I dont finish till 6 so we just go around the block if we have enough day light and wednesday is 5 oclock finish so I usually go to Albert park then. I vary also depending on the weather, I steer clear of Albert park if it has been raining, as you can imagine my guys can get rather dirty up there if it is Muddy. Today I got an early mark as we did training and we finished at 3. Tomorow morning and friday morning I will probly be at Albert park if anyone is interested in awalk. Two of mine were a bit under the weather over the weekend but all good by Monday night, so we are back to normal. Ps does anyone know if there is any dog related stuff going on a harris street on anzac day?? eited to add. I forgot to say that on thursday and friday I dont work so I can go for walks anytime morning or evening. I usually alway go about 10.30 in the morning every day and any time in the arvo.

Love ASD, the sunsets are groovy and I loooovvvvve passionfruits!! I think the idea of the daily picture is a real challenge, it makes me think I must pic up the camera and even if it is only a snap shot I feel good that I have challenged myself, Ive only had one slack day and that was yesterday because of the wedding, ti was out of town and I was gone from home for 11 hours, so just no time!! But today straight back into it. Or have I misunderstood do you mean still do a daily picture but make the challenge a different one each week, so that people like me that are ony posting dog pics arent so boring....LOL

Im with Rugger, start out with something that has a wider range, and the 18 - 200 will cover so much more than the 18 - 55 I got a 18 - 250 macro tamron lense at HN for $800 not sure if that is a good price. I got my 5omm 1.8 from ebay brand new for $190 it is an awesome little lense, there is a thread with shots from the 50 mm, check it out!!

No worrys let me know about Tuesday then, I will check here before I head off for my walk, Albert park is better for my guys walk before work as they can run a lot more than they can at Harris street in the cage, I dont trust Cooper out of the cage down there as the other day he took off around the front of the electricity place with the two girls in hot pursuit and it was only when they got to the gate that they realized it was closed and they couldnt getinto the rabbits did they decide to come back, I was so cranky I packed them in the car and we came home, I tell you I was whistling that whistle so bloody hard it made my ears hurt!! Glad you liked the photos, they were only snap shots but I like the one of Ricky and Seb and Cooper on the horse jump and your guys in the car.

Pandii, I lIke your new siggy, did you do it??

Hi Guys, just thought Id drop a line as we were dropping down the page... Maws, RJ and Pandii, did you get the pics I emailed you??? Anyone available this week thursday or friday for a play date?? Weather permitting i will be at albert park for the next 2 mornings around 10.30pm if anyone wants to join me. Shannon, did maws end up with a cough after the other day?? Cooper has had a bit of a cough on and off today will see how he goes and Tully has been sneezing no end, Im guessing she has a cold, her nose is running clear as well. Lacy has come good and Bronson is just Bronson full of beans as always In fact I only took him to training this morning and he was awesome doing stays while the other dog next to him was being called to come etc, we trained with the higher up levels as there was only one for that class so I said Id train with her as Bron is bored in well behaved class (cant pass as he cannot do an out of sight wait for 30 seconds tied up) he has been in the well behaved class forever so thougth id give him a change, to may trainers and not many dogs today so I got to do my own thing which is great!! Anyway Im just raving on now so I had better go and do something!! Shannon, Lauras wedding was awesome, such a good day and it was a lovely service she looked absolutely beautiful and the reception was great. How did the koalas go today??

CM,I love your guys, looks liek they were having fun, I really like the ones of happy happy Chester!! Bumma PC, Ill miss the daily dose of Darcy!! Thanks Guys, I have finally found a way that work, with a few of your suggestions, I changed the Exp com and I just took a couple of pics till the preview shot had no flashing black bits, (the over expeosed bits) not ideal but I have tried going with A mode or S mode but I am usually taking pics at random so it is easier to have it on P and let the camera set the S and A. But by changing the exp comp and bumping up the iso slightly it has worked a treat. So just for instance before I fiddled around with my exp comp the sky in this pic was white. Thanks again.

So glad you can come RJ, If you go to the walter oval entrance and enter through there, we park behind the club rooms. I cant think of the name of the street it is off, but if you are coming from the garden street way towards town it is the first turn left after the footy club entrance. I am just waiting on a txt to see if there is anything on at the pony club today, as there was a showjumping clinic yesterday and Im not sure if it is continued into today. Lots of horses and my guys dont mix, so if we get there and there is horses, Ill have to decide if I stay or not. Anyway Im about to head out so Ill see you all at 12.

Thanks so much, sorry to hear your unwell, and I know what it is like to not feel inspired. I never mentioned you in my above post cause I wasnt sure you had started with this months challenge as you had been away, but I really miss seeing a daily dose of your pictures, one of the challenges I think it may have been January, I looked forward to your pictures so much, they were always awe inspiring and so good, you certainly have a talent. Thakns for your nice comments, I am feeling a bit better about my new lense now that I have combatted the over exposure problem, todays shots I was pleased with considering it was a very over cast day and the weather on our walk was aweful and the lense kept fogging up due to all the sea mist, so the pictures are heavily edited as some were so almost foggy but other werent it was wierd. anyway, look forward to some more from you if your feeling up to it, Is that pic you posted your cat, she is very similar to my girl although looks so much younger. My girl Holly is 17!!
