Oh Tanya, sorry to hear that, ownt be seeing you on Sunday then, maybe next week you will probly find he will be rid of it in a couple of days, any idea where he picked it up? Pandii you have been lucky your 2 havent had it. Mine are all vaccinated against it, but I was sceptical after having Cooper done, when he had his last vacc the one that is only kennel cough he had a severe reaction and his whole face blew up like a balloon and he could hardly breath we rushed him to the vet and they gave him anti histamine and he came good after a few hours but it was awefully scary. I was paranoid when the other 3 were done.

You guys are so lucky to have the opportunity to do all these things. I so wish I lived in a town/city where there was more doggy things to do. I have one who loves agility, but we only have a few classes run a year here, and it is on at the same time as my obedience classes and it is at the opposite training school. One of mine I know would love fly ball she is so good at jumping and loves the ball but alas no fly ball around here anywhere. My oldest loves tracking and we have done it a couple of times he achieved a pass in the beginners level with his eyes closed but there is only a couple of classes here a year. I just wish I had more choices. One of my girls loves agility and is so so so good at it but she wont retrieve, we are working on it like crazy but she is just not into it at all. We were going to have a lady come to our obedience school to teach us the basics of doggy dancing which I would have loved to try but it got cancelled which was dissapointing. I guess I need to remind myself as Mrsdog said whatever we do the dogs are happy to be with me and thats the main thing.

Tez, My dogs are Cocker spaniel x poodle, you will get to meet probly two of them at training on Sunday. How is Jane gettting on with the cough? Two of mine had it a month or so back, it was a very mild case and they only coughed for about two days, then they were all good. The vet just told me the best thing to do is keep them as quiet as possible and kke pan eye on them as if it gets worse it can turn into a secondary infection. Mine caught it from a dog at the park, we had come into contact with it before I realized it was coughing and the owner was unaware that the cough was more than likely serious. Also as you would know highly contagious, I was very suprised when my other two didnt get it as well. Tanya, have you been anywhere much around other dogs that have been coughing? When mine had it there coughs were not constant and as long as they were quiet they didnt cough it was only when they exerted themselves that is exaserbated it. also at the end of the cough it is almost like they are going to be sick but it doenst follow through. Hope Bruno hasnt caught it, but as long as he has had the vaccine it is usually only short lived.

Why does she have to be attached to a long line, she is only a pup, she shouldnt want to run away, Keep doing what your doing with the treats, you will be suprised. All of mine have been off lead out and about since they were very young pups and none of then have ever ran away nor have they wanted to. Not sure how many pups are inthe puppy program at the moment as I havent been to training for a couple of weeks with being away. Will be good to meet you in person, do you have any kids?

Ok cool well it will be good to meet you and little Jane, Did Patricia say you had to have an assesment or is she letting you join strait into the puppy program as Jane is only a pup. Any one available for a walk tomorrow? Anytime and I dont mind where.

Well done to you RJ and of course Boof, I know nothing about dog shows, what does Reserve dog challenge actually mean?? Pandii, I must have missed the bit about Cudgee, sorry to hear you missed out, you be very dissapointed!! JJ, I can understand about the Vizsla Club not being impressed!! Hi Guys, Just a short note to say hi to you all. Welcome Tez, hope to meet you soon. I am just home from my holiday we had a ball and are all exhausted. JJ sorry to hear about the puppy so sad but as you said a short life but loved just the same till the end....RIP little puppy!! RJ, how did your show go today I was thinking of you!! I am available for a catch up any time this week, tomorrow I am clipping which will take me the majority of the day I think as my lot are all wooly and need a good hair cut as they have been roughing it for the last two weeks. I will post some photos tomorrow if anyone is interested. When I do it Ill put a link here. Tez, have you tried using photo bucket for your photo uploads then you just copy and paste the bottom link into here for us to see the photo. It is free to sign up to photo bucket, just google to find it. All my files are massive so I just export from picassa and it automatically reduces the size. Good luck would love to see your girl. By the way the Million paws walk in Sale was pathetic to say the least, but I guess for a small town it was to be expected and the last couple of years Ive done it in Melbourne and there is just no comparison. We are going to melbourne next year for sure!! Edited to add, I forgot to say that the Besty friends holiday retreat was awesome!! But it rained the whole time we were there which was dissapointing, but we all put our coats on and made the most of it anyway, the dogs had a ball!! I would definatly recommend it!!

This is the one I use sometimes, it is great I can do all 4 of mine in 10 minutes if they are not absolutly filthy. I dont use the dryer as it doesnt seem to be hot enough. It is $10 for 10 minutes. http://www.trubludogwash.com.au/

Hey Tania, I thought of you and Bruno today, we had a mastiff at training, he was a nice boy around 11 months old, not sure if he was PB, possibly could be crossed with ridgy. Bruno will love Brierly, I think it will help his shyness for sure!!

Im reading this thread with great interest, especailly about the tripe, so is it ok for them to have white tripe? the type we can get in the supermarket and if so how much would be ok to feed in conjunction with a diet already consisting of beef, veg, bones, ( lamb, chicken necks chicken wings) fish, eggs and a small amount of dry food. I get a bit confused about the offal as when my oldest dog now 3 was a pup, he wouldnt eat and I tried a lot of things and he loved liver so I was adding liver to his diet of mince and veg and he was loving it but the vet told me to cut out the liver as too much was bad for them and as I was using it as a training treat once a week at obedience that was enough. (all other daily training I use dry kibble) oh and another thing, do you cook the tripe or do they have it raw??

Hey Pandii, I found the stick while I was looking for a pen...LOL it was in the top drawer of the cupboard that is near the door to outside where I put things that I dont wanna forget.... I found it next to a couple of photos of Sebbi and Boof that I got printed out after I edited them to see what they looked like, I stuck them in the drawer so that next time I seen you guys I could give them to you....

Hey Guys, I would definastley be interested in a catch up after training on Sunday. What time does HArris street finish?? My guys for size JAckets are around 47 - 50 cm. Cooper 55cm. How much do you charge for the jackets Pandii? Also where did you get your memory stick from?? the only place I havent yet checked fully is the car, will do soon as I go away next week and have to at least make it look respectable, so hopefully will find it there, I feel aweful, I never lose things especailly not other peoples!!

I do still have it, but I put the photos on it and then put it in a safe place, thing is, I cant remember where the safe place is???? I will look for it over the next couple of days and if I cant find it I will buy you another one and put the pics on it. Where did you say you got it from? was it thewarehouse? was it 2 or 4 gig? Im sure it will turn up!!
