JJ, The road in my pic is a continuation of Mckiernan rd before you turn into whites road, it leads through to the wangoom road I think. I drive past it every day but that day I just seen it in a different light, there is a really old looking run down little cottaeg off to the right of that road, im wondering if I can sleak inthe paddocks and take some pics of it, but im to chicken. TD, love your river shots!! JS, I love you fence pic, What program are you using to do your black and white? Bob it sure is a very small world, you mention, Donna and Terri, would they be the Vizsla breeders? If so I have met Donna at our obedience school before she headed up your way, she bought Ringo along for a lesson. Lea, your shots are bloody amazing, the first one is just lovely and that sunset awesome!! What treatment did you use for the first two, if you dont mind me asking. RJ, Thanks for the comment, So are you joining in this month, maybe we can go on some photoshoots again, I couldnt think of where else i could go today, two heads are better than one as they say!

Hi Ravyk, I am just home from my holiday the day before, and dont have to work on the 2nd, as JJ said do you want the doggies to have a run and meet our crew, we have a massive open off leash dog park or we could go to a smaller fenced off area, you let us know what suits you best, are your guys both doggy friendly? Do they like to have a run off leash? Tanya, Im thinking you should chuck a sicky that day...

Thanks Tez, its not to hard really, and I think my stuff is just run of the mill, but i totally agree with you about my models they inspire me every day!! I couldn't find a party hat, so since it has been so cold how about a beanie for the birthday boy instead!!

I was lucky with my lot, My oldest slept on the bed till I got my second pup 6 months later and he just took himself off the bed onto his bed on the floor next to the bed, it was just like he was making way for the pup. My 3rd girl 7 months later, I wanted her to sleep on the bed like the other 2 had started out but she took herself straight to the ensuite on the first night and that was where she stayed till the pup came along, now she sleeps under my bed (her choice) they are all so different. I wanted the my youngest to sleep on the bed and we did try him on the bed in the ensuite but to no avail, he just wouldnt settle so thats the main reason we got him the crate, and like I said in my earlier post we havent looked back. I have loved every minute of my lot sleeping on the bed but it is a luxury to them if they much up or we dont want them on the bed, we just tell them to go to thier own beds and they do. We usually only have one on the bed to sleep these days, although they all get on the bed for night time cuddles before departing to thier own beds.

Glad he had a good birthday!!
-
Me too, You have inspired me to try out some more night shots with urban landscape involved R & A that shot is lovely!!
-
My boy who has been in the crate to sleep from 8 weeks of age has never toileted in the crate, if he needs to go he will cry so i take him which is very rare he has a night bladder of steel!! I would not be leaving paper or puppy pads down, I only think this confuses them and gives them licence to go anywhere and not necessarily teaching them where they really need to go. Hard I guess if you are away from the house and the pup is inside for long periods of time, they have to go somewhere not an ideal situation, I went through this with my lot but I am only gone through the day for 5 hours max, so mostly they slept while I was gone.

Back lit, light trails and an urban landscape all in one, Huga your a legend!!

JS, I hardly ever use the tripod, I know I should for landscapes but I havent so far only for long exposure shots. I do find the tripod awekward and it annoys me if I want the camera to be a different angle etc, so hand held works better for me, as you can probly tell from my shots from today the camera is actually on the ground for two of them, so i will improv if I have anything around to sit the camera on instead of a tripod. Look forward to seeing your shots, Ive only ever been to Adelaide once and the Adelaide Hills were pretty cool If I remember correctly (I was 15 at the time) I bet your shots are great!!

Thanks Guys!! I like the comments and I also like to comment, I think it gives us great incentive to do the best job we can!! Jules you are so right, I am always looking at things differently now and mores so becasue of the challenges and have taken shots of things I never would have before. All the first ones I took today I thought they would be great but I looked at them and they were so ho hum I was really dissapointed, and the ones I just snapped werent to bad, go figure??? :D

Heres mine for today, I took the dogs out for a run and took the camera, I took so many pics (327 to be exact :D ) and it was just as I was on my way home that I looked at this particular road in a different light, It is a road right near my place and I drive past it every day. Here is 3 different perspectives of the same track.

Vickie, great shots, especailly the rainbow one, the horse on the left looks like he is about to walk out of the picture. :D I especially like it when posters have a story behind the pic, like the thought process that went into taking the picture or how it come about. Jules Beautiful shots, I love Pelicans!!

Hi guys, Im just home from a landscape shoot sounds real pro eh!! I havent had a look at my pics yet, will post later if any are half decent. i can see im gonna have to pop i here quite a bit with the way this thread is moving along!! It has really given me something to think about and look at the scenery differently while I have my camera as I am usually shooting close up and animals (dogs)are my thing. TN, I love the Train track shot, and your sunset shots are great. Ash, i think your landscape shots are great I love the fiji ones!! Ashli, Interesting shots, I just love the softness of the black and white one especailly! Ravyk, Nice beach shot, I do love landscape shots with people in them it adds to the character of the shot, Cool that the bird is in the shot too! Bec. I agree so many said they were no good at landscapes and all the pics have so far been fab!! Love your shots. Will check mine and post some after.
