  1. Great shots guys!! LP I really like your last shot, just lovely!!
  2. Mmm seems all the Warrnambool peeps have popped in Im another one. I have 4 (as you can tell from my siggy) and we quite often travel from Warrnambool to Bairnsdale which is a long trip at least 8 hours with a few stops. I always stop at Winchelsea, there are toilets and a park below the swimming pool, it is great and usually deserted at this time of the year. So usually then I dont stop just strait through. Mine have all travelled long distances since they were tiny pups so very used to it. The longest trip we have done was 10 hours with one stop, they slept the whole way. I wouldnt worry sounds like you plan, your pup will probly sleep most of the way anyway. Just a quick question, where will he be in the car, I know with my lot I have a station wagon and my oldest doesnt like being hot I always know when it has warmed up as he crys. In the rear of the wagon if it is warm it can heat up quite quickly, something to keep in mind. On long trips mine are on seatbelt restraints in the back seat. For short trip when they in the very rear of the wagon I have the air con on. Have fun theres a bit to see in Warrnambool, Make sure you go see the whales there is a few about this year!! Have fun!!
  3. My original message was just a note to the ones that were heading out to let them know the road wasn't real good and to be careful.
  4. your sister and your niece were so lucky. What an awful lot of damage done, and with the train, was that near Camperdown, i only heard about it didn't see it in the paper. It was so lucky no one was hurt, I guess it could have been a lot worse!! Its a pity about your insurance will you have to pay the excess?? Tez, did you know there is no training next week, just thought id let you know incase you didnt. so the next training day is 27th Sept. I wont be there that day as Ill be away. If you guys go for a walk afterwards have fun, Ill be thinking of you all. We will be boating that day Im heading to my mums for a week or so it is my step dads 70th Birthday so big party and lots of rellys to catch up with. Also having a big catch up with my doggy buds in Melbourne, and visiting my friend who has Brons brothers, she has just got a new puppy and she is soooooo cute!! Anyway the weather looks a bit better today, at least the sun is shining, my lot are all still sleeping I think still exhausted from thier beach walk yesterday!!
  5. Look at the camera Bruno!! I am so proud of Cooper and myself in how far he has come in the last 18 months, he has gone from a dog who couldn't even be around males (apart from my OH) without going nuts to this!! This is the shocking road that I was talking about down basin track, this section is just before the boat ramp. The weather has turned pretty crappy tonight, I think Maws comes home today hope she is off the plane and out of this bad weather!! Tez, we missed you and Jane today, how did the clean up go, was thier much damage??
  6. Cooper getting his second wind!! Ah someone to play with in the water!! Bruno meets the little Scruffer!!
  7. Hi guys, here are some pics from today. We just got back to the car in the nick of time before it poured. I think all the doggies had a great time. Tanya, your OH very good with the doggies and my big boy just loved him!! the sea was a bit choppy!! The big fellas!! and thier owners!! Coop having a bit of a rest!!
  8. great job, Your new training techniques for Daisys recall are obviously working a treat, Well done. I can see why you are so proud of Daisy!!
  9. Nice shots R & A, it looks so hot and dry where you are.
  10. Just a quick msg to say the track out there is attrocious so go steady along it, I nearly lost a muffler the other day Could have been just my driving but IM blaming it on the road!!
  11. I am happy to go there, we haven't been back to Gormans lane since I found out about the baits, and the very last time we were there, there was horses, my younger ones are fine with Horses (to scard to go anywhere near them ) but CJ would have to go on a lead or he would be going off to say hello, although I will say his recall is about 99% everytime now which Im so pleased about and the whistle works wonders, but in saying that Id rather be where there is no horses, we have been parking at the boat ramp and walking east and the other day we had walked all the way to the spot your talking about. I think if the day is nice tomorrow your spot will be better as there may be a few people about. So shall we say 12 ish, that will give me, Tez and Tanya time to finish up at training and maybe have some lunch and then head out, I will have to go home and get who I haven't got with me.
  12. Great shot BM, looks like you took it from a plane!!
  13. Well sounds like Kilarney might be the go then, JJ which part of the beach have you been going to? Tanya would you come to Kilarney? Maws is away so shes out. I might be able to get our Koriot friend to join us to if she is not working.
  14. We went and seen Kings Colleges production of Joseph and his amazing technicolor dreamcoat tonight, it was quite good. JJ Your Bro was doing the filming, I only noticed cause I was sitting right next to him. but he doesnt know me from a bar of soap!! Which reminds me and cause im to lazy to trawl back through pages, when does his shop open? I told my Aquarium crazy friend at work and she was so excited!!
  15. Might be the same one RJ seen a few days ago near her place she said she has never seen it about before? Maybe they are new to the area.
  16. Oh Poor Tarni, hope she will be ok and have no scars. Ah the Royal, how exciting!! Hope you do well, im sure you will. Did you get Amy scanned or is it really obvious she was in pup? When will she be due? How did Donna go with RIngo up North, did he do well? Not sure where we are walking this Sunday, probly not Kilarney as Terry has already had to travel from Camperdown, will let you know where we are going at some stage.
  17. Love the colors in thoses shots annie, really like the first one!!
  18. there has been a lot of lightroom threads latley, I love love love it!! Sadly I had to pay for mine although got it a smidgen cheaper as I was a student at the time. Seems I have no inner geek. Your editing looks fine, are you shooting in raw? You will have a lot more room to play if you are and the beauty of light room is that the raw files are automatically converted when you open them in light room. The two pics you have posted did you do them with the presets? In the library section there are presets and basic editing like exposure, clarity and vibrance but when you go across to develop, you can just work your way down the sliders to see what each thing does, it is so easy to use and the results are fantastic. I never realized how much you could make already great photos even better. I have a friend also a DOLer who has just got light room and has taken some awesome pics of her frogs, they were fab pics to begin with and she has done a bit of tweeking and they look just fantasitc!! Hope she will post them for everyone to see. Have fun and look forward to seeing more of your great shots!!
  19. Whats everyone up to for the weekend?? Not sure what the weather is supposed to do. We had a walk at Kilarney this morning, then this arvo at Vic park and apart for the wind it hasn't been to bad today.
