Hows the puppies??

Hi, I dont know that we have any sort of outdoor wood product that is only one coat? I will see if I can find out today when Im at work. Im assuming it may be a water based product if you wet the timber first. Most of our stuff is a 2 or 3 coat system, there is a new water based stain that cabots have just bought out but it is 2 coats. Do you wanna bring a color in like a stain or do you just want protection and leave it the same color? We have a couple of oil based furniture oils that would do the trick but depending on how old the furnitue is as to weather you need to sand or just give a clean with warm soapy water or maybe deck clean. It is good as it bleached the wood and gets rid of any dirt and grime!! It just depends really what you want to achieve, mostly things that seem easy and dont require a lot of work or a lot of coats are usually not much good but who knows with technology now, it all gets better and better. our range is cabots feast watson intergrain and sikkens, in that order on quality and price, we have ultra cheap ones but they are crappy and you need to reapply all the time. It is not recommended to use a vanish on our door furniture although some people do, it just doesn't last, it flakes in the sun and if it is something you use all the time it wont hold up to the wear and tear!! I have found the best thing is furniture oil clean the piece first then apply a couple of coats and wala your done!! as to which product you choose it depends you might get 6 months longer out of a more expensive brand but really whats 6 months and the worst thing about out door furniture if you want it looking nice you do have to reapply once it starts to look crappy. Hope this has been some help but I will definatly try to find out about the product you seen, was it on tv like better homes or something like that?

My four are all pooped after today a big morning at training, then the beach then the park, I think they will sleep all day tommorow too!! Wow thats a lot of mulch!! It sure was busy out there today, seems to be getting busier every weekend, I was glad to walk out the door at 1pm. :D

Ah the Puppies look so cute and Amy looks great considering she had to have a C section, what an ordeal for the poor lady!! But she looks very happy with her little bubs, look forward to seeing more pics as they grow over the next few weeks!!

Ok one more with the black back ground, but the only thing is I think Cooper and Lacy look so sad and down trodden in this picture, not even sure why they jsut werent into it!! might have to have another go but if I dont get a chance at least I have these.

I had noticed that and I will definatly make sure the final copy is all level. The pic had been bothing me too so i went back and lightened it up but it just didnt look right so I picked another picture all together, heres 2 more, I have already decided I dont like the yellow or the writing but the white is ok. and I dont think I need the little presents on there as the frames are decorative.

Does anyone know can I print photos from photobucket? Might have to go back to picnik to see if I can do something there so I can actaully print them out in a bigger size?

Mmm good point, I had a bit of a play with the back ground but I found that the black made the photos stand out more, maybe Ill have another play!!

Thanks guys, I will keep working on it, I didnt want to spend a bomb just something simple I have the cards that you just pop the pic in the front of so just need the nice photo to go in it. I think I will stick with the all together one, just a question of if it needs text on it or not. Anyway thanks for looking!!

Hi Guys, I have started thinking about my xmas cards for this year and I usually do them with photos of the dogs and use the pre made surrounds for the cards. Last year I had pics of all the dogs on thier own so did a few of each one for the cards. I am thinking this year that I would like to have them all on the one card but Im at a loss of how to do this apart from making a collage in picassa, this may be ok, but just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions of how I can incorperate one pic of each dog to go on one card, I hope Im making sense?? Hope the little cavy finds a new home, I have already asked a few people today but I guess its not the kind of impulsive purchase you want people to buy!! Sad that the breeders wont take her back, they would be in a better position to rehome with (you would think) potential homes for thier puppies and she is not really that old even. Is she local and are the owners of her now looking to recoup most of thier money back??

Dont stay away too long, look forward to seeing some more pics of your girl, enjoy her you know how quick they grow up, they are not puppies for long enough!!
