Hi guys, I just decided to take a couple of shots of the dogs in front of the Christmas tree, well if you can call it a tree, I didnt put my tree up this year then I felt bad so I bought a live bush from work and made it the tree for this year :D Tully (white dog) seems to know whats is in every parcel and she is only interested in the dog stuff, Im sure tennis balls have a special smell cause she can sniff them out a mile away, she is funny when the other dogs go near the doggy stockings, she kind of runs in at them and give a little grrr to let them know to back off, she has always been obsessed with balls and toys to the point where I have to limit her time with them balls especailly!! Anyway heres the pictures

If you wanted to do it in Picasa if you dont have LR or PS, you can just hold all the pics you want to reduce and go to export and this is where it give you the option to reduce the size. once you do that it will save the photos to a folder in your pictures under Picasa exports. Hope you can understand what Im talking about. Once you do it a few times it is easy and even better if you are already familiar with Picasa. If you dont have Picasa, you can just download a free copy, google for the site.

Hi guys, I got a call from my sister tonight, she wants to buy her SIL a camera book for beginners as she is getting a SLR for xmas and has no idea how to use it. Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Is there a SLR's for Dummies?? edited to add, I just did a google search and found there is a SLR for Dummies, wondering if this would be the best one for her to get?

JJ might have to field the liver Lamb or Beef question, I assumed they were lamb cause they are pretty big but I dont think big enough to be beef?? They are always fresh!
-
I thought that was a special price he gave just to me!!! ;) Maybe he gives that special price to all the crazy dog people in town!!
-
Yep thats where I usually go if I need a bag. I had a friend from Tassie sent me some over from thier local abs and they were great and cheap as, I think she only paid about 50 cents each for them. But then you have to take into consideration the postage.
-
Just another bargain I have found if anyone uses liver for training or treats, 50c each at the norfolk butchers!!
-
Not sure what thier bones are like, I did see they had marrow bones but I didnt take any notice of the price as mine dont eat marrow bones, (well they probly would but I dont give them) Does anyone know where one can get cheap pigs ears in town? One of the butchers used to do them cheap a long time ago but I cant find any. I usually stock up when Im in Geelong there is a place down there that has them for 99c each if you are a member and they are a good size.

Thier chicken necks are the cheapest in town and a good size too, not sure about the chicken frames, mine only eat necks and wings. Every time I have given CJ frames about 4 or 5 hours later he vomits up the vertebre (sp) in a tiny neat little pile, it is so bizzare but apparently quite common so i've heard!! Yes I also think the mince was particularly fatty compared to thier normal standard mince so possibly the reason for the price?? I have to Ration my two tubbys and give extra to my two sportys when it comes to mince that is particularly fatty, but it is not a huge part of thier diet. Anyhow still a good bargain for the doggies tucker I think!!
-
The mince is just standard, i just got it for the dogs they have it as part of thier diet, so it will keep me going for a while, dont see standard mince much under $5 a kg these days so I stocked up.

Hey Guys, just a heads up in case anyone is interested, Meat barn had mince for $1.99 a kilo today they were selling it in 5 kilos lots as a minimum purchase. I think they are open tomorow and may still have some left!! edited to add, Tanya you still up for a walk tomorow? We are heading to Port Fairy in the morning, so i'll be heading out for a walk sometime in the arvo, RJ said she would like to come too, will txt you tommorow with more info if you are available in the arvo. Tez, you probly wont see this now but have fun on your trip!!

I laughed when I read this as I didnt make half the fuss I usually do and I was feeling guilty, usually I bake a doggy cake or some doggy muffins but I just didn't have time. Here are 3 more pics, a little better quality taken on the slr, Im very dissapointed in the little point and shoot Nikon that I recently bought, the quality is not good at all!!
