So many fabulous photos here, I havent been in here for a long time so last night waded through about 15 pages to see all the more recent pics and it inspired me to have a little shoot today with my lot. Its so hot here and they are all looking a but lack lustre but we have a play anyway!! Heres some of the shots. Lacy Tully Cooper with the big sad eyes playing funny buggers with his ears! It is amazing how many people have beem insired by this thread to go out and buy the nifty 50, My OH got mine for me online it was only $99 and I am amazed at the pics it takes, it does take a little while to get used to the fact you cant zoom and also the focus depending on what setting your using but all i can say is play and have fun!!

Looks like they all had a ball!! Do you live in near the area you were camping at? Just curious as I have family in Bruthen and Bairnsdale and last time i visited we went to the camp ground at Corringle, dogs are allowed there and it is a great place with the beach etc although the dogs have to be leashed on the beach, there is the river as well not sure what it is called but on the other side you can see Marlow.

I love hearing all these storys, one of mine is a shocking jumper to say hello, drives me nuts. One just talks and kind of like she is telling me off for being gone for so long The oldest just kind of waits till all the other 3 have done thier thing and looks at me as if to say awww mum don't forget me and comes up to me whole body shaking tail going 100 miles an hour ;) The baby of the group like Fly has to have an offering to bring to me or OH as we walk in the door, its hilarious, even if im home and OH comes home he runs to find something to give him as soon as he hears the garage door go up, a few days ago he couldn't find anything laying close by so he ran to the toy box and all the toys are in the bottom and he couldn't reach he was going nuts trying to find something. They sure keep us entertained with thier antics!!

We had our old dog desexed at 8 due to he got prostate cancer, so they took out the tumour and desexed him at the same time. We didn't notice any change in his behaviour at all.

Give Him An Inch And He'll Take A Mile
tlc replied to corvus's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Sometimes I think it is good to have a dog that tests the boundries because it tests your skills as a handler and I think makes you a better dog owner. I have had a variety with my 4 they are all so different and each have pushed the boundries at some point one way or another. I think with me it keeps me on top of thier training and makes me not get complacent about thier behaviour and general obedience. Also you have probly found with having more than one it definatly changes the dynamics. With my lot the dynamics changed with each addition and it keep me on my toes with getting a good harmonious balance between the 4 of them and me as thier leader. Throw an OH in thier who isnt really interested in sticking with the training regime and it makes things interesting!! I think the secret to the "give and inch they take a mile" scenario is to nip it in the bud before it takes a hold. Also Erik is still young and learning the ropes so to speak. I say that about my youngest all the time he has definatly been more of a challenge than the other 3 but he is nearly 2 so I cant really use the "oh but he is still a puppy" line anymore..... -

Pandii, when we did this particular challenge last year you could take a photo of anything you like, the idea is to challenge yourself to get a pic a day, it sounds easy but it is actually quite hard especailly if your not used to picking up the camera every day!! But I loved this one because you can shoot whatever you like! -
Beautiful doggies beautiful shots!!

Oh Maws, you probly wont see this now till you get back, glad to hear you had a nice Chrissy even though you were away from home. No shower or proper toilet sounds gross but Im guessing it will be totally worth it for what you are doing!! Not sure why Coop looked sad in the photo, he seems to go all hang dog as soon as I bring the camera out indoors?? Its just like oh here we go again and yes they all got too many doggy pressys and were very spoilt and we all had a great day!! Look forward to hearing more of your adventures once you are back on line, thinking of you in the cold hope your staying warm!!
