Liver!! It is like gold to my lot. Dryed or boiled. I use boiled for training, but roasted for just out and about in general, but my lot (apart from my oldest)are pretty food (treat) oriented and they usually know if I pull something out of that hound bag it is going to be tasty so they are not fussed!! Roast chicken is good also cheese, I used anything really tasty for my lot as youngsters, especailly my oldest cause he wasnt really food driven, so the tastier the better for him. I dont treat much now only occasionally at training and then when we are out and about I still carry treats and use very intermittently!

Geez Shell thats putting the pressure on I have had my thinking cap on to see what I can come up with but nothing is springing to mind yet, lucky I have the whole week to think about it!

More great shots, this thread is like a bottle of vintage wine it just gets better and better with age I am using lightroom and I do play a lot, but it is just black and white, I know not all pics look good in B & W but i just cant always get the look I want, will play some more.. Ok outside for a quick snap not much effort in todays shot Im afraid. My big boy CJ in his kennel that he never uses, he only went in cause I asked him to pose for me :rolleyes: I couldnt decide on B & W or the color so Ill post both. I can never get my black and white looking any good, no depth to it.

Ams, love the pei blur!! Evolving, I also have a Nikon coolpix and I bought it after my little canon ixus 970 decided to go kuput. I have hardly used it at all because I like you do not like the pictures it takes, even on settings that are not auto I am still not impressed. I didnt expect the quality of an slr of course but It is not a patch on the Nikon. Mine is the s570 it was over $300 and I just expected better quality!!

I think everywhere should call off work I was just reading WEIA's thread about tomorrows weather and she has just posted a link to a news article warning people already to leave thier homes due to extreme fire danger, hope it isnt like black friday again. I went to the beach early this morning and it was lovely out there (Killarney) cool breeze and just fab for the dogs they had a ball. But now all exhausted and slabbed out. My Tully sounds like your Zee, busy busy and hanging out for the next outing. Although in saying that she is fast asleep now, two hours at the beach has put a dint in her energy levels for the day

Hi Jess, they will probly be so glad to be inside at lunch time that they will just plonk themselves and sleep for the arvo. I know if mine are out for a little while on a hot day and im here, when they come in its like :D thanks mum we were dying out there!! they are so funny they just plop down on the tiles and go to sleep if anyone didnt know they would think they had been out in 40 degrees all day If you dont mind me asking what do you do for a job?

Thanks Kristen, I know I always centre my subjects and every time I take a pic with the subject of that pic not in the middle it doesnt seem pleasing to my eye but when I look at everyone elses they look great and I can see it works but I cant with mine?? Will try for a little off centre for my next shoot and see what happens!! What about from an editing point of view, any critiques there??

Wow it will be tough going back after 4 weeks, I too am dreading the big green shed tomorow in the heat!! Do your furkids stay inside on hot days while your at work? Mine do as Im lucky to be only gone for 5 hours and usually OH is home before I get home so they are only usually left home alone for 4 - 5 hours so I dont worry about them being inside. Not sure how they would go outside all day in the heat, but don't wanna try it either especailly when they are not used to it. Have fun back at work I havent had any hols over the xmas period, I have to wait till later in the year, around May and it wont come soon enough, me and the puppies are going on a trip YAY!!

Heres mine for today, got up early and went to the beach before it got too hot, it was absolutley beautiful!! Buddies Cooper and Scruffy My girls rough housing in the water My friends beagle x having a ball!! Sorry I know thats more than a photo a day but I just cant for the life of me only post one photo, I can never decide! I love looking at all the photos so I figure thats what its all about! Still proud of my self as I am taking new pics every day.
