OOOOOooh look at that belly, bet she is ''over it'' now, not long to go, will be handing out for news & pics...... Hope she hangs on for you, all the best.... All the best for your wee girl, Indy has taken to the ''belly up'' position as well lately..
-
OOoooh, pitter patter of fluffy puppy paws, hope she doesn't come too soon, that sounds very early, everything crossed for you and girl.. NEWFIESRUS: I would be getting another in about a week, had the same happen with one of my girls cause she did carry higher than they thought, we ended up with 9 from that litter..

Thanks, He is doing so well, you wouldn't even know he had a rough beginning. He is a paint out of a quarter horse mare...both he and his mum will be heading to Tassie end of January I agree, the waiting is the worst, I am so excited but because I have time to think about it, I am a little nervous... I am at my best when everything finally gets going...
-
yeah, still trying to digest it though..... This is her first litter so still a little ''on edge'', but at least I have family history (both litter sisters all natural with 8 & 11) as well as there is a long line of natural whelpers... I'm gunna be busy but I can't wait......10days to go and counting..... How is Scarlett today???
-
I'm sure you will be fine, and I hope all goes well with your girl....... I'm all outa stress, used it all last week with a sick newborn foal...

well, we just had our x-ray, poor girl, no wonder she is waddling like a duck :D what we could see, there is a belly full . I have had her all settled inside for the past couple of weeks, and everything ready, so now just have to sit back and wait, and all goes well, but have my vet ''on alert'' if need be..
-
I could understand her panting if it had been hot but it was rather cool last night. Scarlet is at the other end of the house from my bedroom at the moment and I could here her in there with the door shut and lying next to Storm in her whelping box who was either panting (letting milk down) or snoring. It is warming up this morning and she is fine Leanne I had this with Indy 2 nights ago, I was a little worried only because she had that ''far away'' look in her eyes, but even though it was quite coolish, her belly was still really hot so rolled her over and she settled, was thinking maybe she was giving herself a ''practice run'' . Was going to wait till end of next week to get x-rayed, but instead we are getting it done today. The sire has thrown some pretty big puppies in previous litters so just want to have an idea, if there seems to be a few I will just monitor her when the time comes but if there is only a couple, will need to seriously consider booking her in for a c-section. Is it just me or do the days seem to be going by faster now that due dates are looming :D

Congrats!!!!! Getting my girl x-rayed next week, she's getting aweful big so either a belly full OR just bigggggg babies..
-
I am so sorry Panxan, had this happen to me few months ago, my girl reabsorbed between week 6 & 8...

This is Indy's first litter, so I have fingers crossed that she follows her mum & litter sisters and has no probs going naturally... She has got her appetite back and funly enough...prefers the dry food over averything... I love the coloureds too, hoping for some variety (reds/tri /brindles) as well as the whites timing is everything....lol we're going to have a nice quiet house here too cause she is due at the beginning of the last week of school, Sheera though, she is due just before xmas, but having had a litter before (and being one of the rare ones that has actually read the book) noise really doesn't bother her, but not beyond sending the 2 legged to the grandparents for a day or 2 if I need to cause they are only down the road..
-
hey Leanne, No, can't use white over this girl, she doesn't have enough pigment..... The daddy is black(brindle)/white so we are expecting a nice variety of colours & whites Poor darlin, she can't get on the lounge now, she mosies over and gets the front up but just can't get the back end to follow.. Its all getting exciting now, everyones babies are getting closer, can't wait to see piccies of them all, fingers crossed for a trouble free delivery for Scarlett..
-
I have been getting really excited about only having 11 days to go for the first of my 2 girls but you only have 7 days left........ooooh can't wait to see some piccies
-
OOOOH congrats Lynai

Poodlefan bless your little cotton socks... This has to be the best thread I have ever read.... Now what can you entice me with in a bull terrier????? money is no option ooooh I def want something that I can start pumping out puppies with asap cause I got a good backyard, its huge measures 5 metres x 3 metres

Congrats to everyone with their new babies, they all look gorgeous Ellz, glad the new mum is doing well with her brood, kept popping in to see how she got on, she looked enormous...

Congrats to everyone with their impending bubbies. Here is a pic of my girl Indy at day 50.....she is starting to get a little uncomfortable poor girl. ( gorgeous bottom line is definately a thing of the past)

The bottom pic looks very promising, fingers crossed for the x-ray hope all comes back with a positive for you and Congrats in advance..

Wooooohoooo Congrats!!!!!
-
simple answer must be:- cause we are mental :p ha ha the poop.....what goes in comes back out 5 fold...... I am getting really excited actually, despite the colossal amount of poop its a first litter for Indy and the last litter for my red girl Sheera.
-
definately think you're gonna be busy, those bellies look good enough to sit and rub all day... I can't talk, both my girls are doing great (due 2 and a bit weeks apart so I am gonna be busy too) Here is a pic of my Indy girl, she is not quite 6 weeks here, and at almost 7 weeks is ALOT bigger now. She used to have such a beautiful bottom line and now it is nowhere to be seen:( I will get some updated shots of both girls next week, red girl will be 5 weeks & indy will be 7 1/2 weeks..
-
Ooooh Leanne, that is one big round belly there
-
Congrats!!!!
