So by Chrismassy do you mean you already have the tree up?? Maybe that would inspire me also putting the tree up?? Cant wait to see everyones photos, this month will be fun I think!! Tree is up, wreath is on the front door, yard is decorated with christmas lights (we have a competition going in my street!) and Zero and Mow (my cat) have been chased mercilessly by me with a camera while wearing assorted christmas outfits. I've also ordered my 50mm 1.4 and I'm picking it up tomorrow... I think I will have a festive photo by tomorrow night lol.

Zero comes into the room and stares at me. If I don't respond, he puts his head in my lap and when i go to pat him, he walks out of the room, makes sure I'm following him and then goes to the back door. When we move I'm teaching him to ring a bell - it's not practical in my current house.

Yay!! My house is christmassy so I'll have to get into it this month. I really want a 50mm 1.4 lens - it would be perfect for this challenge.... i might have to buy myself an early christmas present.

Lol - in my yard it would have been "screw the ball, there's a cat!!" and Zero would have been giving me dirties for me not letting him eat the kitten. He still gives me dirties for not letting him eat the cat and i've had mow for 2 years. Your pack are gorgeous Vickie - have I missed something? Did you get another dog or have I always just not noticed the dog next to Trim?

I've heard good things about eagle pack holistic and royal canin but it really is up to the individual dog. As far as I'm aware, the only food that doesn't contain fillers is artemis but i have heard stories of dogs gaining a lot of weight on it, and dogs that drop weight like crazy on it. Zero does very very well on it but he is allergic to wheat so it doesn't surprise me that he is better on a wheat-free food. Choose the one you like the sound of and go from there. If your dog isn't doing well, change it.

Zero is on artemis healthy weight management - it contains no grains which are the "fillers" in kibble. I buy it online at: http://www.pookinuk.com.au/ or http://www.naturalpetstore.com.au/ Both deliver to Perth for a $5 fee. ETA: I should add that Zero is allergic to preservatives and colourings. He doesn't have a problem on artemis. We've tried the healthy weight one and the maximal one - Zero has a very slow metabolism so puts on weight easily so he gained weight very quickly on maximal but he loses weight easily on healthy weight.

He sounds like he'd make a great performance dog Vickie and he's a gorgeous boy to boot! I'm sure you'll find him a great home in no time.

The 12th is great for me. I'm going to see if i can fit something in the car so I have somewhere for Zero to get wet. Once he's wet to the skin, the heat isn't a problem anymore.

How much do they look like Mow's? The whiskas and the boots are soooo similar!!! Ronin is just to die for! I wish I'd had a better camera when I got mow - he was sooo cute!

Ronin looks just like my cat did as a kitten!!! They're adorable!!

I use a bittering agent over the fly repellant to stop Jude from licking the cream off Zero's ears. She hates the taste. It's just one used for cows and horses to stop them from chewing on things. Since we've used that when the dogs are together, I haven't had a problem with Jude wanting to eat Zero's ears.

Lol - Zero isn't exactly the most energetic of dogs. I don't think he's ever bounced even close to my face Ella would definitely win in that department! I'm pretty sure this is just about the last one for the year and it's being held at the club Zero and I go to - if he doesn't end up in the ring at this trial, the next one isn't until the end of january i think.

I crate and toilet trained my dog when he was 2.5 years old - he was a rescue and hadn't had to hold it in before. I agree with what others have said. It sounds like she's not being taken out enough. If it was me, I would be taking her out every couple of hours, even during the night. If she had been given the opportunity to poo 3 times before you can take her out, you've had hours and hours between toilet breaks.

Yeah me too I hope Daisy is good enough to enter in Novice eventually, then I won't have to fumble around with the leash I love that shot too - it's about as close to Soaks as he got while they were doing zoomies and he looks like he's pushing her out the way. Lol - I'm sure Nik will film it for me! I'll be able to view my uncoordination then! Daisy will get there easily - she's a young dog and look how far she's come with the drive training. You'll probably get your three passes in CCD and CD before us anyway! Once summer hits, Zero can't go in the ring - it's too hot for him and i won't put him through that so this trial (which is being held at our club!) is it only opportunity this year.

I admit, I didn't - I thought he'd have to be managed his entire life but he surprises me everyday and I've stopped having to watch him like a hawk around other dogs. I freaked out a little the other day when he started doing zoomies with terranik's dogs. I thought the excitement would make him forget himself but nope! He loved it - Nik even got some photos and he really was having the best time. (and yes, that's me in the background laughing at Zero for not being as fast as Ahsoka but still trying to keep up anyway - he would have a serious face on while he tried to catch up with her and then his smiley face on when she out ran him) What???? I didn't know you'd entered Zero in a trial?? dammit, I always miss the most exciting news :p eta: what did you end up using for a LAT? did you end up sticking with the around the back one? Nik made me do it - Zero is ready to be entered but with me working so many hours to launch lifestyle YOU channel, i haven't had the amount of time to work with him that i would have liked in the leadup. I have a feeling we won't pass (he'll probably NQ on something like his stays or the stay part of his recall) but i would love to go into the ring with no expectations - it will stop me from being nervous which will help him. I'm sure he'll surprise me one way or another :D He goes around the back for his LATs - it just looks cleaner for him but at the same time, I don't like having to change hands with the leash when we're doing it. I'm too uncoordinated!!

Except not something you really want to win You should see how naughty she's been in her stays lately Shell. I'll put her in a stay and she'll be desperate for her reward so she'll look me in the eye and bark :rofl: At least she's staying in the one spot and wants to work! We're 3 weeks out of the trialling ring and Zero's totally forgotten how to stay or left turn in heel!! 2 months ago it was duration heeling and we finally got that down pat and now he's forgotten what stay means. He'll wander over to me or if he's in a sit stay, he'll lie down like i'd left him in a down stay! We'll get there eventually - even if we don't go well, at least he'll give me a laugh about it all.

Yay! Reserve our place - Zero and I wouldn't miss it! Btw - he was playing with an entire german shepherd (who he had never met before) on the weekend without a trace of a problem. I think he was happy to play with a dog who was actually bigger than him. Maybe this time he won't try to kill your dogs through the garage door? ETA: Poor Daisy - it's not her fault she found the scent and noone wanted her to find it - I think the wooing of a sibe who wants his go in the practice trialling ring could give her a run for her money in the noise department!
