After being told that I wasn't walking right when I was heeling with Zero I started practicing without him. Now I heeling walk without realising it!

That's her!! And her name is Abby. :D Dianne was putting one of the other instructors through their paces in the ring and everytime she called something out, Abby would stop and look at her - I'm sure she'll be in the ring in no time with Dianne training her!

That's odd - i find the canon model to be very sharp at 1.4 :D I took some photos tonight of our head instructor's new BC pup (i've had a play with them to remove the leash and give them a softer look but they're pretty close to what came out of the camera) and realised how hard it is to get a pup to sit still when it's owner isn't around:

This one needs to say something like "I'm waiting for you Santa" or "Please Santa, I'll be good" Dear Santa, Define "good". Roc's photo is great but I love everything about the Ralph photo - definitely something I'd love to have on a christmas card!

Yes Shmoo!! *wills you to bring the fluffy one* + camera I'm taking my niece to the ballet (and by ballet, I mean we're seeing Angelina Ballerina performed by a ballet company) at 2 so I'll only be there till about midday. That's okay - Shell is coming so I can palm off a couple to her! Yay!! You haven't seen naughtyness until you've met Zero I actually thought I would give her Soaks and Jedi To keep? :D I suppose I could bring him too. Hes naked at the moment, I clipped him off. Will leave Doog at home though, hes a grumpy old man. *wills you to bring Darcy too* Zero is a grumpy old man too - I'm sure they'll get along really well, standing away from everyone else and not running around with the young'uns.

She may have only needed a small amount of brushing a day but I'm guessing they didn't do it . I know with Zero that I don't have to brush him that often - he's blowing coat at the moment and it takes hours of grooming for a few weeks to keep him looking like he's not blowing coat. I hadn't brushed him out in a few days and when I look back at the photos I took of him yesterday, I was disgusted with myself because he had tufts of hair all over him - I spent an hour and a half yesterday getting him back into a state that I am happy to have him in. I can't imagine ever allowing him to get into the state the OES was in!

I'd wait till after christmas if I were you JS - everything comes down in price. I know my 1.8 did last year... shame that I broke it. :p The places around here all wanted $180-$210 for the lens too - i ended up getting it for $108. There's a huge saving to be made if you wait a little!

I forgot about this thread! I'll have somewhere to post the millions of photos I'll be taking with my new 50mm 1.4! Both taken in next to no light - ignore the banding in both photos, I exported them at very low-res. The 4 christmas shots in my siggy were taken with it too at 8 o'clock at night with the iso set to 100 - I love my 1.4!!! I can't wait to have a play around with it on the weekend in full light!!

How's Taite feeling now Two Spirit? He looked very bouncy last night and on monday - back to his old gorgeous self! I've got Zero an appointment with Peter on sunday so hopefully he'll be able to help him out. Now I just need to get Zero bathed and brushed so he won't I've seen the results come canine chiropractors have had and while the muscles do need help if something is out of alignment, putting the spine back into alignment really does help with the muscles IMO. One of my friends is a human chiro and is thinking about getting her canine qualifications - the amount of relief she's given me is immense but chiro and muscle manipulation go hand in hand.

One night I was trying to work with Zero using kibble as a reward - he wasn't having any of that so I gave up thinking he just wasn't in the mood. Then I started peeling a banana and I looked up to see Zero staring at me (that really intent, fixated stare they get when you have something they really really want) from across the room and as I looked at him a huge string of drool came out of the side of his mouth So yes, that day he worked for a banana - he will also work for tissues, apple, mango and frozen anything

Can I book cuddles with Kenzie and Ness at the same time? Nik is literally around the corner from me so I'm sure you'll see me and the monster sibe at some point! Great shot AM - I tried to get one like that last night but completely failed. I need more practice!

Aww - Winki is very similar to my boy Lucius! He and Zero don't any much to do with one another (both of my cockatiels tend to be more people focused and Zero pays them no attention whatsoever!) but I've caught Zero sleeping under their cage a couple of times when we've had workmen here. I think he wants to protect them.

Thanks - I think he's a bit special too. They were taken in a rush tonight and he doesn't like things on his head so it was a bit of a nightmare. Lots of photos of him pulling the "i'm a poor, sad doggie" face. On the plus side, my snowman cooperated! Excuse the banding in the vignette - I exported it as a very low quality image so it would upload quicker and then flickr didn't help the matter. ETA: You were posting at the same time as me TLC! I make my signature like that - I used to go by the guide but I have a feeling even this one is too big. It'll probably get deleted. :nahnah:

$149 at Camera House just saw a catalogue a couple of days ago That'll be for the 50mm 1.8 - I had one of those but dropped it out of my camera bag and broke it - the 1.4 is the step up (1.4 = me in heaven), it a little bit more expensive (I got mine for $475) and takes oh-so-pretty photos. I found I wasn't a huge fan of the 1.8 in low light and have had a play around with the 1.4 which I like a whole lot better so I'm really excited!
