  1. They are Terranik's dogs - Jedi is Zero's bestest buddy. They have a "let's stand around and just hang out" policy. Ahsoka owns Zero we introduced them when Soaks was 10 weeks old - Zero growled at her (he was very unsure of her to start off with) and she gave him a "how dare you!" look and started telling him off (lappy pups have loud barks!) and that shut him right up. Later that night she decided she was going to lie down next to him so he growled at her again (he wasn't used to having dogs so close to him), she told him off and so he let her cuddle up to him :p Now he'll even lie on his side around her, let her walk all over him and get out of her way when she tells him to - like I said, she owns him This was taken on the same night, Zero says Soaks smells pretty when she wears sexy underwear
  2. "Hi mum, I look so dignified dressed up as a rabbit. I love you"? Maybe not
  3. Okay! Week 9 - Zero with his two bestest buddies.... well one of them is his bestest buddy, and the other is a pushy bitch who has him under her paw! Week 10 - Zero's just been caught doing something cheeky... this is his "oh s**t, I'm in trouble" look. Week 11 - Keeping with the crazy eyes theme, Zero's the best treats catcher ever! For a dog that doesn't hear very well, he can certainly hear the whistle of a treat flying through the air! Week 12 - Pretty self explanatory really! Though it did come down to a battle between that one and this one:
  4. They might from the "official" flickr group (but not from the DOL group lol!) - between a 70 hour week at work, being so sick i slept 19 hours one day (and then 15 the next!) and now trying to catch up because I was sick last week, I haven't posted one on there for i think 3 weeks! I should really get onto that!
  5. This one looks like she learnt how to sonic bark like Bolt
  6. He does happy too! I'm sorry RnB - I'm hijacking your thread!!
  7. Separate them. Get kitty a harness and a leash and control any situation where they're together so they can get used to the idea of being calm around eachother. If that doesn't work, spray bottle - anytime kitty goes to scratch, spray him/her with it (on the body, not the face). Other than that, you could try dipping your dog's collar in lemon juice or orange oil and letting it dry - cats usually don't like the smell of citrus. Because it's a cat problem rather than a dog problem, it's a little harder to solve. I know I can't teach my cat a damn thing (that probably says more about me than it does about him!) - he mostly just does what he wants! ETA: Oh, and trim the cat's nails back as far as you can without making them bleed. If her claws are transparent, cut them back to just after the pink bit in them stops. If she'll let you, I would round the tips on them with a nail file.
  8. In Sydney, I mostly see oodles in the eastern suburbs - I only know of 3 in my area but a friend of mine's husband is a vet over the other side of town and he says 80% of his clients have oodles, he even has one himself. That being said, when we shot a promo over there last year, down in the doggie daycare they run they had 3 cocker spaniels, a japanese spitz, a maltese, 3 staffies, an amstaff, a pug, a beagle and a mini poodle. There were also the oodles but out of all of them that were there, there were more purebreds than oodles. From memory, there were 4 oodles. 2 cocker spaniel x poodles, a labrador x poodle and a maltese x poodle. Oh and a rescued terrier mix. It's a little bit disturbing to see so many of them over that way.
  9. Further proof that technology is a good thing
  10. 15 days.... I think I might have to put in a quite word to work this week, see if we can get the upgrade to CS5 happening asap.
  11. He may have to be put under anaesthesia or heavy sedation for the x-ray to be done - putting dogs under GA/sedation is not something the vet will do lightly. Zero has hip problems and our vet has told me to explore other options before having him xrayed because last time he was put under, he took a long time to come around. Your vet may be concerned about putting a sick dog under sedation if there are other options. If in doubt, call your vet and ask.
  12. I cried for probably three quarters of this movie - it was okay though, Zero was sleeping on my bed and "watching" it with me at the time. I don't think he understood why i kept hugging him It's not very hollywood but they have put an annoying american spin on it.
  13. Depends on what brand of SLR you have firestone. If you have a canon, you're looking at about $120 for the 50mm 1.8 and about $550-600 for the 50mm 1.4 - the sigma 50mm 1.4 is about the same and comes with a nikon or a canon mount. I'm not sure about the other brands. Last I heard, the nikon 50mm 1.4 was cheaper than the canon but it all depends on where you get it from.
  14. He was happy bunny for a small amount of time today too but he was mostly an angry looking bunny! Yours is the first easter photo I've seen this year!
  15. I know the feeling! I thought you shot on an SLR! Your photos are great! This is one of my out-takes from today: I know which model I would have preferred to have had!! ;)
  16. The person Nik knows with her Leo you met on sunday! Sally goes with Singe on a wednesday night I think. If you want to go, I'll come with you!
  17. Do you mind if I ask how many shots it took you to get that RnB? My grandfather (who lives in perth - so on the opposite side of the country from me) loves Zero. I took him out to shoot for our easter card today and I've realised that "themed" shoots for Zero always have a lot of photos of him with a "bah humbug" look on his face and then others are like "this is the bestest thing ever!!"
  18. Hey, don't you be dissin' Zero's brother from another mother... It's such a shame that Lestat has such problems. He really is a lovely dog. They're not dogs but 3 out of the 4 animals i currently own are petshop animals (none were purchased by myself - the birds were free and the cat was a surprise present). My 2 cockatiels were both pets paradise rejects who were going to be "set free" (taken outside and let go) because after having their wings clipped and being put up on those horrible perches in PP, they had become aggressive towards people. Both had been in the store (and in the case of Lucius, several PP stores) for nearly a year so you can imagine how many children had poked and prodded them. It took me years of work with both of them - they were supposedly "hand reared" but I had more trouble with them than i did with my old girl who came to us straight out of the aviary without any contact with humans! Even now, one of them is very strange but I love both of them so I would never give them up. My cat was a present for my 21st birthday, given to me by a guy i never saw or spoke to again - he was able to put my details on Mow's microchip without me knowing I was getting a cat and he openly told the staff in the pet store that Mow was a surprise present and he didn't know if i rented or owned my house. I only found out where he had bought Mow from because the vet that did all the work for the store had my details passed onto them and they called me to tell me he was due for a vaccination. He had come into the pet store at 6 weeks old and at 12 weeks he weighed only 100 grams more than he did when he arrived - at that age they should be putting on 150 grams a week! He was so skinny and very sick - luckily that pet store closed down, though another store just like it has taken it's place. The people in the old store put as much food in the cage if there were 2 animals as they did when there were 12 animals - it makes me sick to think that Mow went through that. I would never buy from either a petshop or a byb - I don't even shop in petshops that sell live animals. I really hope that they eventually pass the law that says noone can sell puppies or kittens, though I hope that it's extended to birds too.
  19. *sigh* I hate this too. Zero is on artemis (grain free) because it gives him weepy eyes if he has wheat. That being said, any wheat gives him the same problem. He stole a bread roll off another doler and the next morning I had to wash the hair around the eyes because it was covered with green gunk. Everyone was so quick to blame the preservatives/wheat without properly testing what their dog was allergic to. We did Zero's with an elimination diet - it took about 5-6 months to realise what it was and it was done under vet supervision.
  20. I would love to know what they consider to be a "husky type" An "alaskan husky" is a very definite cross breed where as the siberian husky is an ancient pure breed.
  21. That is possibly the bestest photo that ever existed. Lola is hilarious!
  22. But their pastor says to give so they can't be shonky!!
