We've had heaps of rain, but the weather is starting to clear so hopefully by the weekend it will be fine (but possibly cold). I've just noticed the DogsNSW Journal ad for these shows and it indicates "Club open for meals". Just wanted to let people coming know that the Club actually closed about three months ago.

No, it looks like a cold weekend, and the venue where the shows are being held is on the river flats and usually a few degrees colder than other parts of the town. EFS

Remember to bring plenty of warm clothes. It's already cold and miserable here

You could tell her about Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) and Familial Nephropathy (FN) in Cockers. Ask her to find out if the Cocker parent of her puppy has been tested for these diseases. If not, point out to her that she could potentially have a puppy who may go blind, or die at a young age of kidney disease.

I just heard this on the news over the radio. It said the dogs are worth $20,000. Everything crossed that they are found safe and well and reunited with their owner.

I think I'll always have Cockers (hopefully), but could see myself walking around the ring with a Cav if I can't run with a Cocker anymore :D

I was accused of being a puppy farmer because I fed & watered my dogs out of stainless steel bowls and therefore according to the wise had no emotional attachment to them because they didn't eat out of pretty dishes, the BS just goes on and on. The only living creature here with a uterus is a pony so that was pretty amusing. The generalisations and accusations that go on are pretty damn ignorant. People are tarred and feathered just because they don't fit in someone elses square, no proof needed, just whack a label on them. Goodness, how ridiculous is that! I only have three dogs and they eat and drink from stainless steel dishes, mainly because (for me) they're easier to keep clean.
