I couldn't find any mention on the website of any health testing of parents (happy to be corrected if someone else has found it) or whether they are registered breeders. $950 for a byb puppy is a lot of money

Ellie was my sister's beautiful Golden Retriever who is now at the Rainbow Bridge. Although she was my sister's dog she was much loved by all our family. -

Rest in Peace beautiful man. -
the house we are in the gaps between the rooms are door size as its all open so unfortunatly i dont think that the child gate idea would work. You can buy child barrier gates with separate extension lengths to fit in doorways of different widths. I have one and it works well. ETA I bought mine off Ebay.

Three Cocker Spaniels. 5 years, 4 years and 14 months. Got my first pet Cocker when I was 8, my first show Cocker when I was 9 and have had them ever since. I've also had Golden Retrievers.

No numbers yet, and yes, Bathurst was a nightmare.

What a stunning baby! I love her eyes. It looks like she's settled in well, LOL :D

I've had Cockers for 40+ years and have yet to see one with a bad temperament. Not to say that they don't exist, just that I must have been extremely fortunate As mentioned by Cockerlover, they were very popular in the 60's and 70's (can't speak for the 50's, wasn't around then) and some were bred irresponsibly for a quick buck and with little consideration for temperament. Yes, they do require boundaries. I have one here who tests my patience regularly. As with any other breed, potential puppy buyers need to research carefully (as the OP is clearly doing) to ensure they end up with a delightful, healthy puppy.

They are beautiful! Mum looks very pleased with herself
