Lovely babies and Mum is just beautiful.

My girls are bathed every week in the laundry tub with one of those hose attachment thingies. I then dry them off on the top of the washing machine which is right next to the laundry tub. They're not keen on a bath, as soon as I get the towels out they bolt outside and down the back yard. Oh, how I'd love a hydrobath.

Thanks Luke

They're so gorgeous! Mine have all gone to their new homes over the last couple of weeks (except the little boy I've kept), and I miss them terribly. :D Enjoy every minute with them, the time just goes too fast.

Poor little man. Sending lots of prayers your way for a full recovery.

Need Advice To Give To Friend Looking For An "oodle"
Ellie replied to a topic in General Dog Discussion
Not advocating cross breeding but I am one that likes advocating the truth. Plenty of purebred poodles with PRA from reg. breeders. Not all reg. breeders conduct health tests. Moselle, after just over 20 years of working for a veterinary ophthalmologist, I am delighted to tell you that you are wrong. I could count on one hand the pedigreed Poodles with PRA that we have seen over the years (and certainly NONE in the last 5 or so years) due to the hard work and diligence of Poodle breeders. We would diagnose 4-5 Oodles PER WEEK with PRA. So soz, love. There is no "plenty" about it. And that is the truth advocated. Thanks for this information Elfin. It's great to know that ethical, registered poodle breeders (and others) continue to do the right thing by their much loved breeds. We have two puppy farms near where I live, breeding little oodle x puppies. They both have glitzy (read misleading) websites but nowhere on their websites do they mention health testing of parents for inherited disorders. Ellie -
They are all beautiful, you have some lovely cats. I must say, though, that Mel does NOT look happy about having his photo taken!

I have a six week old litter here. They are out of the whelping box now and on tiles. I went to Bunnings and bought two metres of cheap lino (I think it was about $10.74 per metre) and OH cut it to the size of their puppy pen, and laid it over the tiles. I then laid newspaper over this. It's easy to clean, just pick up the dirty newspaper and mop the lino. We have an outside deck with a concrete floor so I've also covered part of the concrete with lino, it's just easier clean than the concrete. And yes, the little buggars just love to rip up the newspaper

I'm so sorry to hear this. You do become very attached to the little ones in a very short time. I recently lost a tiny girl after bottle feeding her for several days, she just wasn't strong enough. Hopefully they'll met each other across the bridge.

Just bumping this. Does anyone know how to contact Purina to purchase their puppy packs? I emailed them last week, have had no response and then spent 1/2 an hour on the phone on hold during my lunch hour and couldn't wait any longer. If anyone has a direct number I would appreciate it. Thanks! EFS

Congratulations, that is a huge win at 9.5 months. Well done!

"Recognised by whom? (or who?)" ANKC?

Both my girls love bananas, but they only get them as a special treat.

Oh he's gorgeous. Makes me very sad as I lost a little one about three weeks ago after bottle feeding for five days. You do become very attached to the tiny ones as they fight so hard to stay with us. Good luck with him, he looks like he's thriving. Ellie

Gert's a little ripper!

Here is a photo of our little ones taken yesterday when they turned two weeks. They are all doing well now.

We just lost our tiny girl. I knew it was going to be difficult, but just so bloody sad. Congratulations to everyone whose puppies have arrived safely and RIP to the little ones lost.
