  1. I don't know about PAW but I have use Protexin powder and it is an excellent product.
  2. Aziah, yes liquid gold. The gel is excellent for puppies and I would also give for 4 or 5 days. I give the powder form to bitches in whelp better than yoghurt.
  3. I have used Protexin on puppies, just a little on the finger tip twice a day.
  4. Great post Steve, I don't believe you left anything out :)
  5. Just another thing to consider is to be very careful of what you say on line via a public forum. I had an absolute terrible time last year and posted here, puppy buyer printed every page and submitted it at mediation. For me it was a great lesson learned. Keep a complete record of all emails, letter, conversations ect because you might need them. So sorry for your trouble I know what you are going through.
  6. I would say 8 or 9 Happy whelping,
  7. Ask your vet or other vets in the area, surely they would know of a reliable person or business that provides that kind of care.
  8. I would have bought 250ml bottle of Frontline Spray -- won't hurt the dogs and it would have killed all of the fleas so that next time your dogs are in the car they wouldn't pick any up.
  9. Sorry don't know what I was thinking I meant Minor, still sad youngest again. Still only one way to go from the last in the ring or I can stay at the end of course
  10. I am just doing on line entry for Spring Fair and realized that my puppy born on the 02/03/12 will be 6 months on Sunday 02/09/12, Just need to know does she have to go into " Puppy Bitch " (sad) Yes I know that is right but just need to double check
  11. Bel I have had a successful litter from a progesterone testing of 48 and even a litter of 8 from a prog of 63 so don't worry yet. Good luck
  12. One of my puppy buyers living in the Illawarra area needs the help of a GOOD trainer so can anyone give me a recommendation please :):)
  13. Can you take her home at the close of the clinics day and have your vet follow you home? You can settle her in a favorite spot and let her go to sleep in peace at home. That is if she can be off oxygen for that long. Sorry for your dilemma.
  14. They may be skinny but I would have continues with the Advance just for a little while and then start adding other things gradually over the next week or so. If you start changing their diet drastically you might have 2 new dogs with diarrhoea so be careful with what you add for now. Congratulations on your new additions ~~~ What breed and how old are they and of course pics please.
  15. I have had the ethics of this procedure out with at least 4 veterinarians who wanted to perform JPS on puppies that I have bred and 3 were practicing in the ACT the other on the central coast. Thankfully all of my puppy buyers have contacted me after their vet spoke to them about Juvenile Pubic Symphysiodesis and asked why the procedure should be done, especially as their puppy comes from lines where all dogs on the pedigree have excellent hip scores (which of course they showed to the vet) who still advocated they go ahead with surgery These days every puppy goes to a new home with a 2 page warning about vets who offer JPS. There is also another thread I started here about 3 years ago.
  16. Sorry no help here but ~~~~~ Jamaican me laugh.   Hey I am surprised at ( moi ) Some great names here.
  17. When I lived on the mid north coast I used to travel to Martin Strong at Motto Farm vets on the Pacific Highway ~~ Highly recommended
  18. Ok as you have resurrected this thread how did you go with your stud owner?? Did you come to an agreement? Has you bitch been back in season?
  19. I work in a country vet and farmers come in all the time and buy it buy the 2 litre bottle for using on calves, goats etc. with scours. So to me I would ask your vet for some next time you visit
  20. I have also had a tail chaser. PTS . I would NEVER EVER see it as funny for me the subject is extremely emotional having dealt with it. Heart breaking
  21. Congratulations  I was correct 5 babies.
  22. JMHO ~ small claims or mediation will not work if people cannot or will not come to an agreement on their own. All small claims do is get people together to talk and they offer alternate ways to overcome their problem. Does very little actually. Been there done that. Small claims do not care only wanting some resolution in one session. Extremely stressful for a person who has never previously had dealing with the law.
  23. I think 5. Good Luck for a trouble free whelping.
  24. Poor little Sarge RIP ----- This should NOT have happened ----- Could have been avoided.
