J they start queing at 8am before doors open, you might be bale to ring them and say you are coming up from bunbury can they put you in the que though I rung them to try and make an appointment, as I wanted to bring in a 4 day old pup, and was driving half hour each way, they wouldnt confirm if they would see me straight away, but did advise to go towards the end of the opening hours.

Just ring them and make sure he is going to be in too... Maybe call the night before. I went in on Tuesday night - and was in to see a vet in 10 minutes, Didnt see George because he wasnt there and it was a basic routine thing.... Some people picking up there dog from surgery commented on how busy it was.... i just laughed im like you havent seen nothing, the queue can fill the waiting room and the verandah!

Im not showing this weekend - seems like forever since I have shown! It is our 1 year anniversary since our wedding on Sunday - cant believe it was so long ago now!

Hire a car for the day, and just forget to tell them you are transporting dogs.... pick the dogs up after picking up the car and drop the dogs off before dropping the car back

oh an CC those kittens are adorable... after loosing my Kitty a few weeks back, I thought i would have to get a friend for out boy bilbo - but he is as happy as anything and really come out of his shell since she passed. he is loving being an indoor cat, and lapping up all the attention (he used to spend lots of time outside, and would be rather independent and not like being patted or fussed over) I thought about getting a british shorthair, but i think Bilbo will live out his days as an only cat.

Puppies... im so clucky, Hemi is still a 'pup' he is 16 months old...

I have training tonight... starting in advance beginners.

I believe George only works a few days a week, but has Ross Staddard there when hes not, and he has a good reputation
-
George Huber??? I recently had dealings with him, my mum has been the same as you bedazzled and said she wont go to anyone else unless it is an immediate emergency (George is half an hour away from her) I couldnt believe his bedside manner - but he was absolutely fantastic with thinking of our animals best interest! Thats all i care about at the end of the day - is my pets welfare and he seems to have that at the top of the list! Big tick from me

For the right dog from the right breeder? Anywhere in Oz or NZ. Yep me too... flew to Brisbane from Perth for my last pup.

it is all about finding a pup that meets your needs. perhaps with a pup, Mason can teach it the routes, put it into place, where he didnt know how to with an older - more out of control pup... Do you know anyone with a young pup, that you could borrow and see his interaction? Oh an I think its a great idea too ;)

How Do 2 Golden Retrievers Get Along With Each Other?
RoxyNHemi replied to goldee's topic in General Dog Discussion
Im coming in a bit late too My mother in law breeds/bred Goldies... when I first started going out with Hubby, she could have up to 8-10 Goldies running together at one time, mixed bunch of entire males, bitches with a few steralised bitches. They all got fed on the back verandah together, supervised of course. They all knew the routine. When the bitches came in season they would be seperated of course. Generally they would be seperated during the day at work - have a kennel each, or sometimes two to a kennel, with a few of the oldies on the back verandah together. Just food for thought. -

Vaccination Schedule For Show Puppies... Any Different?
RoxyNHemi replied to Merrirose's topic in General Dog Discussion
I thought because all dogs on our grounds SHOULD be safe as all dogs should be vaccinated and healthy - people shouldnt be taking sick dogs to shows... Well thats my thoughts anyway. I have shown / taken 12 week old babies in the past to the shows and not had anything pop up - touch wood! I think in NSW you go to different showgrounds - which are everyday parks for some shows (correct me if im wrong), so I guess thats where you may have the concern. -
Well done Michelle, and all other WA Winners Fingers Crossed for the better outcome P

Fingers crossed for you P. I am also bad at the waiting game!

So sorry to hear Roxynhemi, I hope the vet is reporting the attack to the rangers and if known the RSPCA ?? Congrats on the obedience pass! I have just had a well known obedience Judge from east place an order for a coated Xolo pup for obedience and I am thrilled! J Thanks J. We don't know what dog did it... so have nothing to report really. Will you end up with coated Xolo in your litter??
