Hi guys, I lurked in here awhile ago because I was possibly getting a new pup... It wasnt certain and I wasnt going to jinx it, so didnt say anything to anyone.. not even close friends (I must admit - that was hard!!!) Well now he is home, let me introduce 'Hemi' my gorgeous 12 week old Westie pup He had a 5 hour flight from Brissy to perth on Monday, and handled it great!! Considering he was loaded at 1.30pm brisbane time, and we picked him up at 6.10pm perth time (6hrs and 40 mins in his crate), he didnt make a mess once! He is fairly good at night, he gets put to bed about 11pm, and he wakes me up around 4ish am to go out (I guess he still is on brissy time). He is everything I could ask for and more. after my boy passing suddenly at 18 months old earlier this year, I didnt know what to expect bringing a new puppy home, especially of the same breed, but he has just brought so much joy into our lives, he has mended a very broken heart, although Cruise will never be forgotten and I still miss him, I have a new puppy to bring me joy and help us move forward..I have my dear friends in qld to thank, for making a dream come true!!!

I have sat and watched a family member - who has had goldens for 25+ years prepare her dogs for the ring, and even helped a bit too Basic items: Brush and comb Thinning Shears/Scissors Straight scissors Brush and comb coat and make sure there are no nots. Thinning scissors on the neck area, trim between pads and around feet with straight scissors, as well as the shape in the tail.... She trims up and baths a couple of days before the show, and then just washes/rinses any section requiring a touch up before the show.

Congrats to the winners to the chow, he has had 3 shows so far for 3 x Baby in Groups and 2 x Baby in Shows!!!

Rural West - Hydrobath mix, Ice Water fragrance Anti flea, bacterial, tick. Wet dog down and them pour over and leave in (you dont have to use a hyrdobath, just mixing up mixture and pouring over dog substitutes)!! Listerine mixed down and sprayed on hotspot will help clear it up

I have had a wagon, and have a cargo barrier, and the dogs just go in there. From time to time i used to crate the westie. I used to let the westie ride on the front seat with me, but the OH said if you have an accident he could projectile out of the car, or into the windscreen, so i started to put him in the wagon.

Some might not be great with technology to take photos and computers, So I would excuse them for no regualar photos. However, no contact to say the money wasnt received, that is rude. If I was buying from interstate I would expect/appreciate regualar updates on how puppies are coming along, especially if its a show prospect and confirmation of payment. I would love photos too of course, but understand its not always possible

Its tonight. OMG I have so much to do... I finish work at 5, half hour drive home, feed puppies, clean up puppies, give them enough exercise, iron my suit to be at the k9 by 7 as we are the first breed on....Arrrghh too much plus i will be bringing the champers with me to celebrate our engagement <VBG>

Im not that organised :poke: it will be the MIL who will do the setting up, I will just be rocking up 10 mins before the show starts.... It smells like it has a bleaching agent in it (have you ever smelt the peroxide bleach mix at the hair dressers) Trust me, it took a few goes for me to work out that method!

I found it worked great with my crown royal shampo Part LL, Part Crown Royal into a Pump water bottle, topped up warm water, and shook like buggery, then applyed and it lathered up very very well! It was still slightly crystally, and actually frothed lots from the shaking.

I did OK, Bitch CC and RUBOB with the dally i showed, and Baby of breed with another Dally Res CC with a dane girl that I showed for the first time, she can tend to be spooky, but she stood for exam! I also got to lead train my new Chi puppy that I am going to be showing.. Freddie got carried most of the way, and had 2 mins on the ground I think!

7.30 on Friday and 6pm all the other nights I think.... It will be a delayed start if temp is over 38
