I love online entries, wish we had them more often... now just for a dog to enter So yes I reckon

I think I make my terriers faulty Cruise - my first Westie, he was quite happy to be a couch potato, he picked up simple obedience commands, sit, drop, stay (terrier people were shocked I would put him on the top of the trolley and walk away), he was a super showdog, he stood on command, he gaited according to command (if I told him go, and gave him the lead he would trot out ahead). He passed away at not yet 2yrs before I got the chance to take him back to melbourne to try out his 'hunting' skills. Hemi - my second Westie, he is only coming up 5 months, he is as michevious as a puppy comes, however, he does what he is told, stands and watches on command, gets out the kitchen on command, wont come in the back door unless he is given permission. He loves a good snuggle and only occasionally digs, as Cruise did, but Cruise grew out of it... Roxy, My staffy x, well she is just super, she respects us and hopefully we will be able to get an obedience title on her one day, and perhaps Agility too... I just need to get off my butt and get into classes and trials, she already knows many commands. She is happiest lounging around either in the backyard in the sun or inside with us...

RoxyNHemi replied to angelsophie's topic in General Dog Discussion
HUGE CONGRATS Its been great hearing you go from strength to strength. -
ive heard, from someone who has proof, that it can be an age thing at times. Her theory worked for me, My Hemi took to doing it on the back patio, he now has gone back to doing it on the grass

I remember my last Junior Handling State Final, about 8 years ago, the judge asked me to show her the bait, well thats what I thought, so I pulled out the dried liver OOOPS, she asked me to show her the BITE! I was sooo embarassed, particuarly as someone asked me why I did what i did when I came out the ring Most recently I left the ring before res cc was awarded I was flustered as I had run over from showing another dog, and the dog I was handling was playing up, and just stuffed up. At least we can laugh and share our experiences

I didnt mean to 'have a go'. I just hear quite often, i pay your wages, thats what i pay my rates for. So the money bit is a bit of a sore spot for me It was a poor choice of words on my account, money hungry wasn't the best description And as I said, was nothing to do with the workers, but to do with some of the ridiculous council laws out there. Mirawee, yes best keep those thoughts off a public forum Its all good.. I may have been a bit precious

I love whinging about the ratepayers ;)
-
I beleive there are laws that permit certain zoning to remove x amount of trees... What trees... I never saw any trees there

I want to know what you need a purple trolley for...... The answer to that, of course, is that purple is prettier than silver!! Don't you think Moose would look spesh in a purple trolley?? Hahahaha You would need a HUGE purple trolley for Moose

You take bloody lovely photos. Sent steve with the staffies the link as he has popped up in a few, and he sent it onto the owners of the kerry blue, they were trying to track me down, as they thought I took the photos and they wanted to use on their DOL progile.. I told them you had, and that you have given permission as long as they leave your sig on there. They were so happy with the photo. You will have to get some of my little fella soon

Very Sad News From The Midniara Household Rip Buddy
RoxyNHemi replied to ~Shepherd~'s topic in Rainbow Bridge
RIP Buddy, at peace, and free of pain. My heart aches with you, I dont know you or Buddy, but your tributes to him are just lovely, he looks like he was a wonderful companion. I lost my boy Cruise in Jan, and it is very hard, but it does get easier, you manage to smile at the memories and talk about the good times... Just the other day I was telling Cruise to return my missing shoe (he was a shoe theif - but never destroyed them!) -
