  1. For each bitch I've prog tested, they've always taken from the first AI/mating...agree with what BB has written above
  2. Love SheWolf's suggestion of... 'Stay...'
  3. The stomach is incrediblely large...
  4. Arrrrgh the waiting is killing me Ellz!
  5. Do whatever you please, I don't want anything to do with you, you're a great aggrivation to me...leave me alone.
  6. I didn't know they screamed either! Sounds lovely. What would the neighbours think! From what I have seen of Tollers, Aussies do tend to have much heavier frames. Except my little midget. I agree, the Tollers I've seen are much finer and of less height
  7. That's fine but I'm certainly entitled to make sure she's aware they can be extremely full and temperaments vary in a rather large way most breeds are like that Are they? That's nice, you're obviously back to knowing it all then! Don't bother replying to my posts...I'm not interested in your smart arse replies. wasnt actually, i have been around breeds that are full on,and got varied temps. even crosses. so was stating fact not a smart arse comment, that you thought i had. Whatever, most (implying majority) breeds aren't that way but you keep on believin' whatever you think you know. Now, I requested you don't reply to my posts, so perhaps you could use your intelligence and oblige...
  8. Dreamin' What was their reason for not wanting your help with this? It woudl have been so wonderful if they had co-operated?

  11. Aussies aren't for everyone despite the masses who will attempt to tell you otherwise... Go out of your way to spend some time with both breeds and make an informed decision for yourself
  12. 8 all up (1 huge dead pupblocked in the other 4) so c-section needed.Mum and pups doing fine. Glad all is well was the huge dead baby full of fluid (out of curiosity)?
  13. well come on tell us what we're looking at, apart from eggs Yeah - this looks yummy, what is it?
  14. Totally agree with showdog... ...and no, can't imagine it's anything eletrical.
  15. Is it near the elbow? Could be wear and tear from laying down on rough service such as concrete etc.
  16. Regarding food... I ensure all my puppy buyers have gone out at least a few days before collecting their baby to get everything on the diet sheet I provide (I email/post it out well before collection time and it's also again included in the folder). I send home 2 prepared meals so that new owner now has a a good idea of portion size...obviously not possible for interstate puppies. This works well for us and owners are always pleased (perhaps relieved?!) to have meals made up to get a feel for just how much puppy is eating at that time.
  17. Have a routine set out before she arrives so that she has good structure from the very beginning. Make decisions on what you'll allow and what you'll discourage and ensure everyone in the home makes training consistent. Have somewhere safe and warm for her to sleep at night (perhaps crate train?)
  18. She'd have only had her 1st vaccination yes? I don't take mine out until after their 2nd vaccination... Also when you do start to walk her, don't over do it, she's a large (giant?) breed and heavy road work isn't something I'd be undertaking until she's much older I'm sure others with large breeds will have better info but JMT
  19. Some suggested dipping feet in metholated spirits works very well (though I've not tried it)!
  20. Hoping Mr T is feeling much better now ;) I've seen them caused by a hard knock (you know, doing zoomies and running fair into something)... He had been doing some zoomies lately with the pointer pup... they sure play some silly games! He seems to be okay within himself. Besides the bucket factor he is quite cheerful and active. I'm sure he'll be glad to get it off soon though! Could have easily been Pointee rammed into something and that may have caused it... No doubt he'll be glad ot get the bucket off
