The pets that I have, are the very dogs that step into the ring, who return home again to the house and the couch and it's being suggested that we dumb them down, calm them down, take the edge of them and make them more suitable for everyone. Oh dear lord, it's time for me to walk away. Glad i wasn't the only one that was struck speechless by this! Ditto! and like SBT123 my dogs are my pets and seem to have no problem jumping off the couch walking into the showring and return to couch...it's not rocket science?!

Have you checked if the Baytril has side effects such as poor appetite, I know antiobiotics such as Rilexin do? I hope it's nothing serious and he's back to his old self soon

I'm sure I read just the other day in one of the NSW gazettes that a bitch cannot be transferred to a new owner once she has been mated. I don't believe there's a period of 'grace' after transferring where you can't mate her.

I agree with Megz - if you're entering the pointscore to win (and at all costs) then you've taken a fun hobby to a totally different level.

That's fine, puppies cannot leave for their new homes until 8 weeks of age anyway so no reason why the breeder can't take the puppy to be chipped at 8 weeks before it is sent to you
