  1. The one I stayed at banned dogs after some showies abused the rules. Can't help there I'm afraid. Hopefully someone else will know of one. not surprising, always a small few to ruin it for the majority. If I can't find a decent motel I'll look into the houses, thanks so much
  2. Thanks PF - what about a motel as opposed to a house?
  3. Can anyone recommend a place to stay (with dogs in tow) in Wagga Wagga? Currently considering heading out for the Dogs NSW Southern Region shows at the end of June...
  4. I can't offer any further advice than those above however I just wanted to wish your babies well and hope they are all happy and well again soon
  5. She'd had a litter December 2007 (6 babies), I bred her again September 2008 which was the pyo episode (open) but it responded immediately to Clavulox. I didn't breed her again until late last year (at the age of 6), she remained on the Clav the entire way through and had 3 babies, I don't however attribute the small number to anything other than her being a little older and no where near as fit. ETA: the seasons in between those time carried on as normal (she always cycled every 5 months) and there was no need to use AB's until we actually went ahead and bred her. I hope this is of some help
  6. No, the infection had already taken its toll on those babies, one boy who was a tad bigger than his siblings lived 24 hours but I always knew he'd be toxic too... If you cleared it up with Clavulox I hold hope for your next attempt, ensure the moment she comes into season that she starts taking Clavulox and you don't stop them until the babies arrive (I have had success with this method previously). The bitch I speak of was allergic to penicillin and regarless, the bacteria she had wasn't responsive to anything bar Baytril.
  7. Yeah I thought I read something about Elevit too - I think it was on Ozshow?
  8. I'll tell you my story and you can decide if you continue... My bitch had a juvenile form of pyo as a young puppy and due to her being under 12 months at the time we did not want to treat with Baytril so found an old antibiotic and treated with that. A few season later I decided to breed her (with no signs since the juvenile pyo episode)...bred her, confirmed in whelp via ultrasound at 4 weeks. At 6 weeks gestation the same discharge returned, we had no choice but to treat with Baytril this time, discharge disappeared but come whelping time it was a whole new nightmare. NINE puppies all the size of small mice, all toxic and none viable...she was spayed some months later.
  9. As hard as it was I spayed mine, I couldn't go through what I did with her again and it's still very raw in my mind some 2 years later... Whatever you decide I wish you all the best
  10. I didn't think you could show blue Staffords because their pigment isn't black? (apologies if I'm wrong)?
  11. I think you'll have babies tonight labs26
  12. The VetBed is the original UK version
  13. I bought mine from Peperone too, wonderful service I've used the green backed VetBed and now the rubber backed as well and I like both...I've also used the cheaper DryBed as well with no problems but with the current price of VetBed ($30 per meter) you'd be crazy to go past it!
  14. It's not the junk food killing pets, it's the owners choosing to feed it?!
  15. Yes, it's such a simple solution :D no excuse for the OP not to do it...
  16. Aziah is obviously nicer then me. I'm sure it's her way of subtly telling me I have no hope of getting "Ever" ever and letting me down softly by giving me something else. Oh oh oh! Ever's name is so appropriate here - 'Break It To Me Gently'
  17. We have a super fast scanner at work (I'll just pull the cat apart and run the pages through) and I just know everyone wants to see the catalogue
  18. Far to many pages for that Someone might be ambitious enough. I don't get mine until Saturday but I'd be happy to scan it all on Tuesday when I get back to work.
  19. If anyone has time (with catalogue today) could you please PM the Pembroke entry? Good luck to all those exhibiting, hope the 2010 Sydney Royal is a successful one for you
  20. they are such good descriptions
  21. The snorting sounds like reverse sneezing... I'm of no help with how much dry to feed though sorry...
