Congrats on the new Pointee babes...how many more do you think she's got tucked away? Fingers and toes crossed for your solid/parti liver boy!

Thanks guys, I am very proud that's homebred Champion #6 for us...

We are delighted to have finished our pretty girl Priah over the weekend at 14 months of age...now rapidly dropping her panties! Aust Ch Aziah The Phantom Lullaby Photo @ 12 months Her brother Carsten (Aziah The Ghost Who Walks) was R/Up BEST IN GROUP & JUNIOR IN GROUP on Friday under a breed specialist judge and backed that up with JUNIOR IN SHOW on Saturday night...now just needing 4 points to finish his title. Baby Ever also managed BABY PUPPY IN GROUP on Friday and played 'devil' for the remainder of the weekend (that's what being a baby is all about)! for letting us share

We usually drop ours right down or, if the weather is iffy, we take the roof off but still leave the frame...it would be a PITA taking the entire thing down each day!

Whatever my point was these particular people were rude and didn't listen to my advice of asking before touching. There are always wonderful members of the public who ask and often sit for soemtime playing with the dogs. My favourite is seeing people who come up and say things along the lines of "We're looking for a puppy and have been researching the .... breed, can we ask you a few questions about it?" Few and far between, I'm guessing, but while I've been stalking...*ahem*....I mean, looking at the bulldogs, I've heard one or two people ask truly wonderful questions They are gems aren't they

Have a fantastic time and good luck

Now this is just a little vent and only about ONE family last weekend at a show... I had wheeled my 3 dogs and parked the trolley ringside while I was holding dogs for someone in the breed before me. I was standing right next to my own dogs... A family comes along and mother/daughter start poking fingers in my trolley and trying to pat my dogs (behind them is a man and another woman also a part of that family group)... I say to all of them, lucky they don't bite, you really should ask before you approach dogs and start petting them (I said this nicely even though I was very annoyed). Anyway the woman who was standing behind mother and daughter pipes up and says "oh, we've been around dogs all our lives, I know they won't bite". I got the shits then, told them to leave the dogs alone please and in future ask before they go sticking their fingers in a cage or trolley. Next minute I turn around and they are sticking their bloody fingers in another trolley (it was The Ark's baby Dragon adn he was unattened but I was watching) so again, I asked them to leave the dog alone or ask before they touch! Stupid, ignorant morons ETA: obviously they weren't taught to ask first but it's not rocket science?

Could be several things, could be the opposite of you needing to supplement - they could be getting too much and be colic-y ETA: Are they well hydrated, do they look healthy and round (rather than looking like they need a feed)? I'm just thinking that with only 5 babies and a bitch who could have tonnes of milk you could have over-full babies, who are uncomfortable and could have a gut upset.

IMO it's both Pockets - but you see, there's that thing called personal opinion again! Dogs are judged as they are on the day, not how they looked or what they did last week or what they might look like or do tomorrow!
-
Mine are 1 x 1 or a tad over and I only have a little machine and it copes fine so the bigger size and a bigger machine should be all good
-
I've never had any problems washing my new pieces and they do soften with age Generally change once a day during the first week and then change it twice a day or more as needed as they get older...
-
Thanks Rysup, do you have a contact for both or one of those? Got plenty of them want these ones for trips away...
-
I see them all the time at shows, but cannot find them online...the website that is linked from Lowchen Australia site isn't vaild (dog-crates.net)... Can anyone advise of a website or something for the aluminium dog pens please?
-
...and again, in YOUR opinion
-
Good grief Gilypoo what on earth costs you over $100 per week that is classed as 'spoiling' ?
-
Sorry Cords I missed the part about phoning back later...agree that's not on and no ones business bar the vet and owner of the dog.
-
Cordelia - Monah was actaully speaking to the owner about the dog not the vet...
-
Yes, often the temp drop goes unnoticed because it can last fora very short period of time... How may times are you taking temp?
-
I'm well aware of the German SV regulations Black Bronson however you've just stated that working titles are NOT a show or breeding requirement in Australia... Last I checked we're all living in Australia, yeah?
-
Congratulations, a wonderful achievement...Macey is just gorgeous!

I totally agree with you Dellcara... Everyone is given AMPLE notice of a when a National is being held, so budget and save to attend or don't!
