Sheesh I was just giving you my opinion! I won't bother offering that in future...

Apart from the eye staining both puppies appear to be in lovely condition One of the bitches I've kept from my last litter had tear staining on one side, her eye wept, it cleared itself at about 9 weeks of age and she's now 3.5 months and not a stain in sight and hasn't had any sign of tears since then.

I bought mine from SwaY's Whelping Supplies site

You're concerns are genuine, you're not a worry wort...in the end it's your decision but you've been advised by several people to think hard and not go ahead if your gut tells you not to.

Marrow bones will wear the teeth down, you're better off feeding lamb flaps, necks, roo tail etc.

What Do You Use To Walk Your Dog And Why?
Aziah replied to aussielover's topic in General Dog Discussion
Most of the time they are walked on material chokers or martingale -
If you're concerned about how hard the dry is (whichever you decide on) you can semi-soak it ;)

I'm wondering if the prog levels are remaining high enough to maintain a pregnancy?

Given Cadburygirl is in QLD yes, that funny feeling could be valid ;)

I really think you'd be better off walking away regardless of what your husband thinks...too many concerns, remember if you take this puppy home, it could have on-going problems and be an on-going worry and expense for you. You want to bring a happy, healthy, lively, vibrant puppy into your home, not one that you've been concerned about health-wise for quite some time. Even if you have to walk away and don't get your deposit back, that small amount of $ in the scheme of things could save you lots of heartache down the track. ;) JMHO

Agree with PF and in addition for future info, many breeders (myself being one of them) select the puppy for each new owner based on a myriad of things

I think you're reading far too much into this situation and wanting to correct a more than likely 'normal' behaviour
-
Yes...never mind

There are no breeders listed???

I don't think anyone will be putting their hand up to participate in another of your polls Moselle, maybe delete this one and start again THIS time with first question being the final one?! -

In other words you cannot take the first 8 answers to the ORIGINAL poll question and use them as figures in the poll you now have...get it??? -
Well you're going to get that on a forum where lots of dog savvy people frequent, lots of people share the same views and regardless of the fact you didn't appreciate being told the same thing by 15 different posters, it might be an idea to realise they're obviously all viewing the situation in a similar manner Yes, why? Because he's the only child you say the pup doesn't seem to react aggressively to. I suggest you start rotating the feeding duties among all three children. The food provider is the bringer of good things. I don't know if it will help adjust the pup's attitude but it sure can't hurt. x2 I agree with PF & Jaxx Pers touched briefly on the photo you posted of the puppy with your daughter (on the lounge), I agree with her comments, he took it upon himself to get on the lounge, he should have been instantly told to get down and only allowed on the lounge when invited (and that's not something that should happen until well into the future when he's obedient, respectful and well versed in house rules).

They mentioned something about ligament issue but honestly I don't think they are really even sure. How expensive is this arthroscopy? I hate to sound rude but it shouldn't matter, you need to get to the bottom of the problem... Did the vet rule out cruciate damage?
-
In this case given you're definitely breeding this bitch next year I'd be firm and keep her until then... If this lady really wants this particular dog, she will wait.

How'd you go with the new pics of the puppy Sezz?

My dogs love goats milk

:D that's ok assuming her vegemite toast is a normal thing ;)
