That Blue Frenchi is so cute Ozstar, but I find it hard not get all goo-y over Frenchie babies, they are so sweet!

Comon Things People Dont Realise About Your Breed
Aziah replied to MonElite's topic in General Dog Discussion
Corgis are not viscious! For the most part (I guess there are still some with poor temperaments) gone are the days of nasty Corgis chasing the postman, biting the ankles of visitors etc. the stories I hear from epople who had one when they were a kid and now coming back to get one to raise with their own kids... -
That's fine and normal, though. It's only through receiving a variety and mix of differing opinions that one can obtain sufficient information to reach a solution that is most optimal for one's personal circumstances. I think we all receive opinions (here and on other fora) that may not necessarily accord with our own views but as far as I'm concerned, as long as people aren't rude, I'm totally fine with receiving advice with which I might not necessarily agree. I don't actually see that there's a problem here. I only put my devil spawn comment in there to hopefully avoid receiving the same comments which have already been communicated (and processed) in another thread given that this thread is focused on training two puppies and not about using meal-times as training times. As mentioned, I have kept that in mind in ensuring that brekky is an uninterrupted meal for the doggies. That being said, I do hope that you don't stop opining - I find your opinions interesting. You clearly speak from experience and you're polite if a bit cranky-sounding sometimes, but I chalk that up to the barrier of the Internet I guess I got on my high horse because I interpreted those little pieces in your post as 'digs' to those of us who suggested what we did in the other thread. Anyhoo apologies that I did get that wrong... From *cranky pants*

That doesn't look purebred to me

No stewing, just still amused. And alas, I doubt that I shall ever be mature given how easily amoozed I am by many small things. ;) As to how we all treat our doggies, at the end of the day, as long as they're healthy and happy - which mine are and I'm sure your fur babies are, too - that's the important thing, right? Chacun à son goût! The point of the story was that you got advice/opinions you didn't like
-
You are so mature obviously you've been stewing over those comments since the previous thread or you'd not have gone out of your way to carry on with your novel. enjoy!
-
But I'm toolazy today I'll see what I can find...

For someone who wasn't going to comment any further on that little subject it didn't take you long!

You can buy leads, chains etc from most dog show venues whena show is on drom the vendors there. Next shows at Morisset are Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th December other than that there are shows this weekend and next weekend at Hillsborough Dog Showgrounds which are only 1/2 hour from Morisset.

TerraNik is correct... Just get your sister to become a member, there's no need for your puppy to be co-owned.

thanks for the link Poodlefan (or is it Poddlefan) I've filed that linky away to investigate!

We had a lovely frog once...I say once because I found it dead in a large bucket of water that had heated to god knows how hot one day and the poor frog mustn't have been able to escape :p

She won't starve herself and providing there are no toehr symptoms that she may be ill then all is well... BBQ chicken is always a hit, had one girl who only wanted raw chicken wings and another who would happily eat providing there was a tin of cat food mixed in

Here I was thinking youwere going to tell us that the roast tato had been sitting with the chicken and the dog decided the chicken was off

The site does not offer any information to go with the prefixes, it simply lists them. We do not store or save any information like email address, owned by, website etc. Oh! Thanks Sway......It would be nice if there was such a place to look at the Pedigrees Second thoughts what's the point in just listing them? I was hoping it would have past champion pedigrees plus present so one could look at the lineage etc I know one can go to "Breed" pages re profiles and if you are really lucky some may be filled in. Ummm did you take the time to read the purpose of the website?! It's a tool to aid people who might be applying for a prefix and are unsure if their ideas are already in use. ETA: You do know that the website is nothing to do with Dogzonline or ANKC etc? It's a site purely for listing prefixes.
-
Funnily enough I was certain I saw the judges listed there too, perhaps we're going mad SwaY?! They certainly aren't there now because I've been back to look but I was sure they were there when I was looking for something else not so long ago.

Poodlefan can't reply to this post so I'm posting on her behalf... ETA: edited to fix my poor spelling error (Poddlefan)

If I'm going to live with it I HAVE to like it...in both temperament and appearance! I'd run both on because it would be unusual for me to find a puppy out of type in a litter (that I bred) so I'd need to run it on as well as the preferred sibling and see what panned out.

why? We too have had a dog returned but dont have a public go at them. I hope when they go to adopt a family dog that they dont mention Banshee as rescues dont take kindly to lazy families. you don't give up do you? No one called them lazy - it was simply stated that this was the reason they returned her (ie. didn't wish to toilet train her). and what image does that portray? That they didn't want a dog that required toilet trainig - not that they were lazy. You're opinion, you're entitled to it but I believe you're carrying on over nothing.

You are joking right??? Obviously you're reading it in the tone that suits you to label it 'bitching' YG simply states (in what you've quoted above) that Banshee is home and gave the reason as to why. Get a life
