  1. I suggest you purchase some Protexin (in powder form) and give it to the bitch AND her puppies, it's a godsend for situations like this and I'd never use anything else.
  2. If you have some natural yoghurt on hand water that down slightly and add an egg/honey
  3. I haven't read all the replies, a suggestion I would make is when Lucy arrives take both her and Deanna out for a walk as their new introduction (ie. do that instantly, when Lucy arrives go straight out for the walk), a good walk and home again in the gate together etc.
  4. The new Oztrail Delxue Compact are excellent...
  5. I am certain those of us who answered were well aware that this wasn't a hypothetical question
  6. Also be aware there have a number of change of judges...
  7. I know nothing, but I'll go with tiger brindle for #4 - they are very cute, congrats!
  8. I try not to assume but in this case you'd hope so huh... Hopefully the OP will return and clarify.
  9. Is the sire of the litter 'clear/unaffected' for L2-HGA and HC?
  10. Excellent news! Can't have the boy being called Pretty Petals and the girl Bad Boy
  11. Do you have an address for the puppy buyer (I would assume so)? Write a formal letter requesting a copy of the autopsy (or report of some sort from the Vet) within a certain time frame.
  12. +1 let us know how you get on at the vet
  13. I wasn't having a go at you JSK - just pointing out that for us down here it's below average
  14. ...and their entry fees are lower than average for NSW in general IMO $8.00 per entry (most shows I attend are $9.00+) $5.00 for baby puppies & sweepstakes (often baby puppies and sweeps are the same price of general classes).
  15. The schedule states, for non powered site: $8.00 first person & $4.00 additional person per night so when you break it down and look at it this way, it's really cheap! We're booked into a motel about 1/2 hour drive @ $99 per night but I like my creature comforts ETA: see you there!
  16. Whoops your behind time-wise over there in WA its 11.00am here Good luck hope it all goes well...
  17. The Belconnen shows are only on Saturday & Sunday this weekend , not today. AM & PM shows tomorrow and one show on Sunday. :D thankyou!
  18. You'll just have to go to BCF and get the 2.4 x 4.8 sets, you only need two of those, they are pretty reasonably priced given their ability
  19. If anyone has a catalogue from the Belconnen AB's show today held in Canberra could you please PM me the Pembroke entry. TIA
  20. Corgi feet must be easier to improve than Stafford feet then - what a shame re the import but it happens, that's dogs huh!
  21. True, but sadly, not always the case in Staffords, Aziah. And being a fighting dog, feet are important. Many breeders discard a puppy at 8 weeks if the feet are looking dodgy. And for Ruger, get those toenails shorter, WAAAAY back as far as you can. The shorter the nails, the less the toes will splay with contact of the nails with the ground and this will help slightly as she gets older. I was just commenting in general ellz, it's all about improving... I'd rather improve on feet than on poor shoulder placement or a poor rear for example (but I guess I'm looking at it from a breeders perspective rather than an exhibitors).
  22. I was just told they appear weak, splayed, flat and left one rolling and turning in. No dog is perfect, go out and have fun adn enjoy her...feet can improve, tighten etc with time etc.
  23. My first bitch had splayed feet, her daughters were a bit better and her daughters better again, but I still have those feet pop up from time to time (but to lesser degree) via that bitch line.
