  1. I am heading to the UK to live permanently this year as I'm getting married and we are planning on having my rescued Mini-Foxy cross Jack Russell join us as soon as possible. In order for that to happen I have been told that she has to have a rabies vaccination in order to travel to the UK under the PETS scheme and cannot leave the country for 6 months. Does anyone in veterinary care on here know what the possible side effects will be for her from the vaccine? She has had no major health issues since she was rescued at 8 weeks old after almost dying of dehydration in a Pets Paradise store in Gosford. I'd also love to know what suggestions people have for keeping small dogs safe and comfortable when traveling on long haul flights like the Sydney to London ones - can anyone recommend a good company that actually cares about the animals instead of treating them like cargo? The thought of putting little Koda through all of this is hard, but the thought of living without her is unbearable. Appreciate any information people can provide. Koda's Mum.
