Hay all, I need help changeing my dogs NSW membership number on ozentries. Is there an easy way of doing this or do i have to start from scratch? Iv had a look for contact details for ozentries to ask them but i cant find any. Cheers

I have this issue with my boy and have found it extreemly hard to purchase food and treats etc for him ( his intolerance is presevativse ) So i feed blackhack. Any dog is capable of choking on bones, if you are concerned only feed bones when you are able to observe or are within ear shot, mine have both had bones from a young age diesel had his first bone with us at 8 weeks and im fairly sure ronnies breeder fed her bones at the same age ( if not younger) Ditto ^ As for the crate i was at first against them but after a few vet trips (day trips) deisel would fret about being locked up, my vet advised to crate train so i gave it a go, im thankfull i did as not long after he had to have an eye opp and he didnt fret at all in the vets and was quite happy to curl up in his crate at home and recover.

Thanks Ellz, yeah im thining a spread sheet is the way to go but i am hopless with seting up excel :laugh: Thanks Sparky, im thinking with one show dog ill be able to keep organised with multiple dogs it's proberbly harder. Ill have a look at the pointscore :)

I’m having a little trouble trying to keep track of how my girl is going in the ring. I’ve written most of my results on pieces of paper but now they are here there and everywhere, I was wondering if there was a spread sheet / app type thing that you can put your results in and keep track of points etc ? Yeah I see what you mean SSM, I know my mum will follow through with diesel, she understands the situation and know's the few people i trust with him and they have agreed as well, i have spoken to my vet and he is in agreement. I hate even thinking about it because 99.99% of the time he is the pefect pet

In an emergancy mum would move in here and take on the dogs, if there was no chance of recovery Ronnie would go back to her breeder and Diesel would be PTS as he needs an eperianced owner

I was worried about this aswell, so iv fitted mine to the laundry door then i put beds and what not in the laundry then i took the normal (hollow) door to the rest of the house and replaced it with an external door with a dead bolt and we can lock that if we feel the need.

My 2 tell me if they are cold, diesel will go and get his coat if he is cold and bring it to me to put on, if he cant reach it he will sit and woo woo at the shelf/bench untill someone gets it down for him. For ronnie i just hold it up and if she wants it on she will come over and stand waiting to put it on if not she will just look at me.

Its amazing what dogs can pick up on, my 2 have deffinatly picked up on my illness if im about to have a fall diesel will stick to me like glue and when i hit the deck he almost gard's me, Ronnie goes running to find someone to help she will tug on people's pants and tell people off if they dont follow her to me.

If you have never left alone before, start with small intervals first. Mine are in or out depending on what im doing and the wether. If its wet, they are crated inside, if its dry they are usually outside. Im not usually out for long periods during the day tho :)

As the title suggests, I would like to know whether any registered dog (main or limited) can participate in a neuter class? They need to be mains registerd, you send a copy of the desexing cert to your state body and have there papers amended. What kind of preparation is necessary? I prepare my bitch the same way i was tought to prepare an entire show dog. Are these classes mainly "just for fun" considering none of the dogs would be able to breed anyway.It depends on who you are up against, some people take this just a seriously as a Ch tital and thats fine. I enter neuter class as another activity i can enjoy with my girl i dont particularly care if we win or not its just a fun day out with great friend's and i take my favorite dog home every time anyway Is there any point in entering a class with a dog that is not of "show quality" ? the majority of dog's you are going against now are ex champ's and alot of them are still in there prime so if your dog only has a few minor fault's then 'why not' but you need to be aware of your competition. If you seriously want to try it out have a chat with your breeder and they will be able to advise you, if the dog is on limited reg they can be moved to main's if your breeder agrees that the dog is of the quality that they want out in the ring promoting there kennel. Im very happy that i have the oppertunity to enter this class it is always a gret day out and my girl loves the added atention she gets in preperation. It is also a good way to find out if you really want to become a regular shower or not :D

This is a great idea Jigsaw, if one doler purchased a photo album with say 2 or 4 slots per page then every one interested could send a post card to that person and they could copy the messagae on the back and put it in the slot next to / above / below the postcad it was sent on. I dont mind helping out again but i cant take on another huge project as my illness wont allow me unfortunatly.
