Well its been a hard week but turbo is setteling in well, diesel mouths him a fair bit when the kids are around but that happens mostly when he jumps on them so i think thats diesel trying to tell turbo not to jump???? otherwise they sleep together and share a lounge at night and seem to be pretty happy thanks for all the help thro this past week

Thanks every one im going to feed seperatly untill i can get some training done with both, diesel starts back at obiediance on wed so im hoping his manners return soon and turbo is slowly learning but he need some seperate training once the kids go back to school ill have more time and i might try them again later

I did this with diesel when we first got him and it went really well i had him trained not to eat untill told but it seems that all of diesels training has disapeared since turbo arrived grrr feeding in seperat areas will have to do for now untill i can get some training done seperatly

we have taken on a 14 wko coolie and im having trouble at feeding time. Diesel (12mth staffy) is a hoover he eats dis dinner really fast but turbo (coolie) eats really slow and then diesel finishes his and trys to steal turbos then they fight, iv been keeping diesel on a lead to stop him getting turbos food but he still growls at turbo and then turbo comes over and they stared fighting again! ARRRRRRGH So next i tried feeding them speratly in the laundry diesel first then turbo but the whole time one is in the laundry eating the other is trying to rip the door down i feel like im ;) ,any iders on how to get feeding time sorted? Thanks for the iders guys he came for short cuddle tonight so thats a good sign its been a really hard couple of days and im just at a loss as to what to do next for this little fella. His owner is not expected to last the week and her patner wants me to take him on full time as he works away from home 4 days a week but dosnt want a stranger to take him. I have to admit that we have been thinking of getting a second dog for the past 3 months but i feel guilty at the same time. Hear are some pics of him

I have been asked to look after a 14wo coolie pup, a friend of mine (his owner) has had a major car accident and is not expected to survive. Turbo arrived this morning and seems to be scared of me and hubby but is happy to play with the kids 3 & 5 and our 12mth old staffy (diesel). Im not sure how to interact with him as diesel was always happy to be with us, can any one advise me on what to do next? Also i only have mince and vegie's how much should i feed turbo? any other advise welcome as my brain is just not working at the moment Thanks Sera

well after cleening the laundry with lemon juice and HOT water he hasnt done it again so i think it must have been marking thanks for all your help Sera and Diesel

Thanks persphone what would you reccomend to clean it with so he dosent pee again?

Hi i was wondering if diesel is learning to sent mark? Diesel sleeps in our laundry we always have had newspaper in there for him to toilet on but he hasent even used that for a about 4 months because he holds on till i let him out of a morning, on friday i did a masive clean of the tiles in our house inculding the laundry i scrubed them and the grout with bleach. Saturday morning hubby got up to let him out and found diesel had peed in 3 corners of the laundry and right in front of his bed not on the newspaper hubby was slightly cranky with him said baahh (our no word) sent diesel outside and cleaned the floor again (with bleach and pine o clean). I got up this morning (sun) and he has done it again! Diesel has had a pretty rough week and a half first he was dignosed with mite on his cheest and is on weekly injections he has no 3 on tuesday and not last thur but the one before we had an attempted break in and he was hurt ( the vet thinks he was kicked) dose any of this explain why he would start peeing in the laundry again? thanks in advance
