Personaly i would go A, i think you could get the pup used to your routen before bub arrives and a bit of training in. My kids were 3 and 2 when we got diesel from day one i pulled his ears and tail and rewarded for no reaction, i did this mor for our visitors kids that are not dog savy

firstly and yes you can go to shows and contact breed clubs thats proberly the best place to start, if you go to shows you can look at the dogs in the ring and figure out what you like then start looking for breeders that have similar lines. Its great that you are not in any hurry the more time you gtake the better chance you have to find the right bitch for your family There are a few great breeders on here that may be able to point you in the right direction also pop in to the stafford thread and have a read of the last few pages http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...64&st=21240

Hay all i heard there is a mock trial at wollongong on the 19th, im thinking of popping diesel in to see if the problems from canberra are fixed. Anyone else going or thinking of going?

Wow that is one cool Poodle :D I would love a standard poodle but they just dont fit with our life style

W had a staffy ball, They are brilliant i loved ours and so did diesel untill one day he was in the wrong spot and it "bonked" him on the nose and hurt him after that he wouldnt go near it, Its now with my brothers dog he is a huge Dane x mastive type big, strong huge jaw and he hasnt even put a dent in it so yeah the stand up well Worth the money if you have a dog that will pop a ball in a minute LOL

I hate leather with a passion, its cold in winter then hot and sticky in summer, I love my micro suade lounge i spent 4 months going to every louge shop in 100kms and ended up with a vienna suite from fantastic in chocolate it has a fantastic fabric protction on it and when my daughter accidently got pen on it they sent someone out to clean it off for me. Having said that im in a rural area so there wasnt heaps of choice i bet you could find somthing better for that price in a capital or larger city

Hay all havnt been in here for a while we are taking a break from trials whilst dad's away as i have no baby sitter for the ferals. Anyhoo just had to pop in today and give you all a great laugh, diesel encounterd his first broad jump today he seemed a bit "off with the fairy's" today so instructor decided to introduce somthing new to get is mind working, (wish i had a camera) he literly went up across and down you could of made a perfect rectangle if you include the grass from where he started to where he landed I have laughed at him befor but i just peed myself at this one So we altered his jumping and landing skills and tried another trial patten and i lost it, we were doing the recall and i did wait but forgot to move so hear i am standing next to diesel after telling him to wait with my instructor peeing her self laughing It took 20 od seconds for me to twig you have to walk away to do recalls tink i might just crawl back in to that hole now

The club has been informed and we will report to the police and or ranger if more are found on wed night

Anne, i know that there could be any number of explinations but for the sake of our club members i think we should be safe rather then sorry dont you?

Wholy crap can you PM me the exact location of the meat balls (the showgrounds are prety big) PLEASE We have about 80 dogs there for training every Wed night. We have a club meeting tonight and i will let them all know and maby go on a hunt to see if we can find some to take to the vet or police to chek .

I would keep the treats, untill after you have spoken to the person and "get a feel for them" im sure they will be fine but if your unsure you may "know" after speaking to him/ her

Im so sorry for your loss, i have not read all the replys but i wanted to say PLEASE please dot tell your child that he has gorn to sleep, my nephew had to have 6 months of therapy after being told his dog went to sleep, he used to wake up screaming every night for months please tell the truth
