I use it and swear by the stuff. No fleas here!

I've got 2 dogs I'd like to title next year, my 10-month-old boy and also a Junior dog who I am campaigning for his mum. Would like to do some interstate trips next year and a couple of Royals. Also intending to add a bitch puppy to the family in 2010, but probably late in the year so I imagine she will probably end up being my 2011 'hopeful'

You've got more patience than me, I would have taken them to the pound already.

Thanks for the link ;) The puppy that Richarde Gere is cuddling in that pic looks like a Shiba!

Definately one on my 'to watch' list

I've met a few of these, and most are just very large scruffy terrier-looking dogs. I recently came across a post on another forum advertising APBT x Sheltie pups...

That is an excellent point. I will ask the vet about it week after next when I bring her home. I guess you can't give it to puppies? It's not recommended for use in puppies aged less than 14 weeks.

Fran, I use Comfortis by itself. I like the fact that I can wash the dogs as often as I want, and they can go swimming in the pool etc.

I am using Comfortis at the moment, I swear by the stuff

I've used a product called "Get Off My Garden" which, so far, has worked well.

Cool, thanks for the heads-up -
Sorry to hear you are losing your pups. You say you have had a pup die of parvo in the past, was this at the same property you are currently at?

I agree. A 20-month-old child needs constant supervision (the likes of which can't really be provided by a parent who is busy having their hair cut). I don't have children but if I did, I most certainly would not let them run loose round a hair salon! Nor would I allow them to approach a strange dog, particularly one that was eating. I think the parent and the salon owner are both to blame.

to those who send their dog to the vet looking and smelling nice! We had a dog in for surgery last week, a very simple procedure that had been booked a week ahead. God knows why but when the dog came in for surgery it was filthy and had dried faeces all through it's coat, the smell was horrendous!!

Miss B, I imagine Kyza would make a great agility and obedience dog, he's so keen and has so much energy!! Yeah, I am hoping so He is such a full-on little dog, he literally throws himself into everything he does. I'm hoping we can have fun and channel some of that crazy puppy energy! -

I'd like to title my Jap Spitz in conformation, but will have to wait until after his first birthday in February. But that's my goal for 2010 I would also like to get him started in formal obedience, and perhaps try some agility and lure coursing. -
Woo hoo Fletcher, way to go!!! Everyone is doing so well, Kyza and I must be the only newbies who are getting dumped weeked, after weekend, after weekend
