We've got a Petsafe run (the larger rectangular one) and have been very happy with it. They are a bit of a bitch to assemble, but other than that - no problems.

Ok I have a question for anyone doing Maryborough this weekend! I have entered all 3 days... I also paid for 3 nights of camping. Yesterday in the mail I received 2 self-addressed envelopes. The first one contains a 'Fraser Coast Show Dog Exhibitor Pass' for Sat 22nd / Sun 23rd. It also contains a camping pass for Friday and Saturday nights. The second envelope has no return address and contained 2 red wristbands. I have no idea what they are for!! Can anyone enlighten me??

Exactly , so why sell a good dog on limited register???. Because as the breeder, it is their prerogative to sell the dog on whichever register they choose!! Whether you like it or not.

Interesting... just did a bit of reading on Lloyd Brackett and realised my dog is the result of a mating based on Brackett's 'Ideal Breeding'. The sire of the sire is the grandsire of the dam, on the dam's side. Took me a couple of minutes to get my head around it

This thread is just going around in circles. I don't agree with 'over the top' conditions being placed on the sale of a puppy, but then everyone will have a different idea of where the line is drawn between 'over the top' and 'reasonable'. At the end of the day, if you don't agree with the conditions - you just have to go looking elsewhere to get what you are after.

I prefer to email first as it gives the breeder a chance to respond as it suits them... nothing worse than being caught in a long phone conversation at a bad time.

My boy was the pick of his litter, and I paid the same amount for him as did the buyers of the remaining 4 pups in the litter (all went to pet homes).
