  1. I use Ruffwear harnesses too... Love them!
  2. A few of mine from the last week Can we put up the tree, yet?
  3. I am sorry to hear that you are still having probems with Jedi. My girl is marginally better. ..but not enough to prevent her from breaking in stays(were we up to them !!) Wasnt the heat just dreadful at the SF? too hot for my crew to even leave the house .No way could any of them show, let alone trial... Yes, Banjo is a lovely boy.My dear friend ,Bev Hughes of Atetak, bred him. Good luck with Jedi and his health issues..it would be such a shame to see him out of the Obedience ring. I have four in work for next winter`s trialling...I hope...fingers crossed. Big job but fun. Good luck to you! I have my Lapphund and Woofenpup's Abby (kelpie) to get into the ring next year, so either way I'll still have my hands full!! I can only hope that Jedi will join them. We're off to the dermatologist tomorrow to start allergy testing.
  4. I thought so - I have been wondering whether it is best to use just a voice command, just a hand command, or both? Berri will do it to whichever, but I'm not sure which I should be doing for obedience, is one way preferable in trials? In higher levels of OB you have to use signals only (no verbal). But for everything else you can use both as long as they're given at the same time.
  5. Here's mine... Mostly trick training and some obedience and other stuff. http://www.youtube.com/user/TerraNik
  6. Not the dog jumping, but the cause of it...
  7. Nope, Jedi is just as bad as ever. He's getting his thyroid tested through Dr Jean Dodds (we're sending his blood off on Wednesday) and if it's not that, then he has to get tested for allergies. We did enter SF but it was too hot for him and I pulled him after 30 seconds in the ring. We haven't trialled since and he's retired from trialling indefinitely unless we can fix his health issues. I have no idea why they are eligible for herding!!! But they are and although Jedi's instinct isn't as strong as other breeds, he still shows an interest in the sheep and has potential. He just needs a little more guidance than Ahsoka for example. Unfortunately only the Keeshond, Corgi, Swedish Vallhund and Samoyed are the only spitz breeds eligible. Meanwhile, Jedi was shown in Open Neuter class at our club (Hills District) show a couple of weekends ago and was beaten for group by the gorgeous Banjo!!!!!!! It was awesome to see him in person. Such a beautiful boy. Jedi did get 2nd in Neutered Sweepstakes though and Open Neuter of Breed.
  8. Ah it'd just blend in with Ahsoka and Jedi's. Don't think I'd notice another 2 dogs worth of hair!!!!!
  9. Aww look at all those cookies!!! Jedi attempts to wrap his present for Ahsoka...
  10. I spent 4 hours today playing fetch with this gorgeous girl (no breaks!!)... She's a stunner! She's certainly sold me on the breed (a non-spitz! oh dear!)... I've put in my order already!!!! :p
  11. I finally got around to editing my photos for this week...
  12. Could you borrow someone's for this weekend? It might be worth waiting...
  13. I actually thought I would give her Soaks and Jedi
  14. That's okay - Shell is coming so I can palm off a couple to her!
  15. Awesome!! I will be there with... 5 dogs (2 lapphunds, 1 keeshond, 2 bc's). Might have to rope OH into it so that we can bring all the dogs!!
  16. Thanks for that TerraNik. Might have to give it a go with Bomber. Let us know how you go! It's a great game you can play whenever you've received all those Christmas parcels in the mail
  17. It's a game you can play with your dog to encourage shaping and understanding of the clicker... You essentially click/mark anything that they do with the box (e.g. sniffing, jumping, mouthing, running around, pawing, nosing, etc). It gets them thinking and they start to become really clever at inventing different things to do!
