  1. I hope you stay that way! The last one of Kenzie is lovely!
  2. Day 012 - I figured it was about time to take a photo of my new remote
  3. Kelpie-i -- LOVE that shot!!!!!! Impressive timing!
  4. Re: distance control vs. broad jump -- if you are planning on going onto UD then you should teach distance control. Broad jump has no future applications, whereas you have a compulsory distance control exercise in UD. But you said you don't think you'll be doing UD, so it's personal choice then. I haven't found drop on recall to effect either of my dogs' recalls.
  5. For the first, I don't really have anything to say other than I can't tell that you've photoshopped bits out! Personally I really like what you've done with the second shot. You've really brought out the eyes which is to me, the main focus of the photo. The non-edited version is dull and drab and underexposed.
  6. Yeah, it's my favourite shot of Abby. I owe Woofenpup for letting me train her - she's an absolute joy!
  7. Here are my last couple of days... Day 010 - Dog night at the cinema Day 011 - TV cuddles with post-playing-with-dogs-outside feet.
  8. I agree with Kavik and SBT - you're best to make your decision based on individual breed function and the additional questions Kavik raised (plus others) rather than what group they are in for ANKC classifications.
  9. Good luck!! Aussies are certainly trying to get the sport started, but it will be a little while yet before we have recognised comps.
  10. Have fun with it, Bec!! I'm starting to move into OCF this year so will be forking out the $$ for an additional flash and the rest of the gear to go with it. But I'm really looking forward to experimenting!
  11. Whoa... that is so scary, Fran!! Hope you're alright.
  12. We're with Petplan and just had our first claim paid. It did take a while - he was sick in late October, I took about 2 weeks to send the forms in and only just got the payment yesterday. But I figured it was over Christmas, etc. Took FOREVER for them to acknowledge that they received the claim though.
  13. Is it for indoors or outdoors? We have Ruffwear boots for outdoors (for hiking) - Grip Trex - but they are pretty full on! Ruffwear also make the Skyliner If you don't want to spend that much, I have bought these ones - http://www.fluppies.com.au/
  14. Thanks! I still have lots of ideas... A huge list of them, actually! Whenever I think of something I write it down! I'm contemplating doing a year of SP's now so need as many ideas as I can get! I really like that one!!
